even here , she is playing a blame game. She is blaming Deepika's PR, it was the general public who criticized her.

Ok she needs to control her mouth..really she does!

Sonam is in the same boat as Abhishek Bachchan when it comes to her celebrity status...simply created owing to nepotism. In addition she also has foot in mouth syndrome in a typical airheaded way. She is incessantly making comments and then retracting them...which anyways make for good entertainment 😆 and keeps her in news. Other than that taking anything seriously over what she would next blabber would be silly!

She does have a point about many things...especially about the PR machinery of most actors these days and the dark side of social media...

She had a point about many things she said on KWK as well but as always her ability to articulate is questionable...it ends up coming out wrong...

I think she is able to laugh at herself sometimes and does have a self-deprecating kind of humor but not all the time...she does get sensitive and lose her cool too...all in all traits that make her genuine rather than artificial.


About the reviews for Raanjhanaa...I think what she's trying to point at is the fact that some reviews did point out how challenging the character of Zoya was and how well she did playing it...ofcourse Dhanush is the soul of Raanjhanaa...but Zoya was a very complex character that Sonam did justice to...even Dhanush himself said as much in many interviews...ofcourse Dhanush is a brilliant actor and Sonam is nowhere near that level of acting ability...but in Raanjhanaa, she gave the performance of a lifetime possibly...Zoya was a character hard to like or empathize with...and Sonam brought out all shades to her quite well...two scenes in particular where she really impressed me...one being the scene when she spits in Kundan's face in the hospital and the second being the ending scene as she's watching him die...she emoted very well.

Sonam does have a PR..but her PR isn't as aggressive as Deepika or Kareena.

I agree with sonam here..most of the points she said was true..how people took her talks seriously on KWK ..

And I appreciate her guts for doing the different kind of roles she is doing..

Interesting interview. Anyways, she hasn't retraced her statements. She said she was praising Anaita(DP's designer) and again takes a dig at DP's PR.

I love reading her interviews. She is what she is.
