Sridevi sets a benchmark in japan and overseas for actresses

After conquering worldwide and making EV the highest grossing female orientated film in oversea, she has set a benchmark that film without a hero can succeed in a big way outside of India. EV has made half a million dollars in Japan already and the beautiful actress has been the big talk of the town, now being compared with Japan's most beautiful and famous actress. It wasn't surprising of her hold in international market even before EV in the gulf area, turkey russia but she has now conquered the East asian countries in Hongkong, Taiwan, South korea and now Japan.With 1 movie she has aquired the highest fan following overseas, highest honour and respect. I can only see her next film if its as good as EV will do.

I have never witnessed the impact their films and themselve had outside, its very rare to have a new dish in menu named after the films character in a foreign land. I think this film would of stood a better chance at the oscars last year with it's response in many film festival.
