I have often dreamed..
Of a far off place..
Where a hero's welcome..
Would be waiting for me..
Where crowds will cheer when they see my face...

Once upon a time there was a boy called Karna ,who dared to challenge the world.. They kept him down.. bruised his ego.. stoned him with their unforgiving words... He kept coming back more strong..with a dream in his eyes.. that a day will come when this very world...these very people would acknowledge him..accept him for who he is.. and will give him respect that he had always craved for..
He lost his path and went on to a different road...A road laid with thorns ..A road laid with unforgiven deeds.. He realised and wanted to come back.. to his world... to his own.. but it was too late.. there was no return..
Those crushed dreams and hopes had now given birth to a never ending guilt.. A burdened heart..
Why Me? He asked...But noone replied... He kept shouting aloud...his cries went unheard..
They say You were born to die...thats why...
A voice came from far across.. He sighed and realised his ultimate fate... He gave his most prized possession... he had...his heart... he cut it into pieces... One piece fell into a mother's lap who had abandoned him long before ...One piece fell into that brother's hands who had vowed to give him death...and Another piece to a dear friend who had perhaps used him all along... His eyes beemed with tears of happiness.. It was time to go to his world.. A world more beautiful ...A world where he belonged.. far away across the sea... Those rays were calling him.. saying ... Son , come home.. Time to say Goodbye...He looked back once... He looked at those memories... those relations.. those friends.. He smiled at them... He blessed them .. had always loved them.. but he has now nothing to give..apart from one thing left... His life..
He gave it up with a smile and went his head held high with pride and satisfaction to his father's place...
Many asked what he got in return...
He got his glory at Last!
P.S- Thank You everyone for always encouraging me in this place. It was wonderful journey in this forum. I would cherish the experience of writing . This is my last written piece. Hope to meet you all in a different place ..May be some other hero might inspire me yet again... Just want to thank My Childhood Superhero Karna for being always inspiration to write about.
