i use to make fun of harry potter...

i use to make fun of all my cuzinz that read it like crazy. I hadnt read any yet. I made fun of my 9 yr old cuzin, 15 yr old cuzin, and my 24 yr old cuzin!!!

Last summer, they all forced me to read the first book and before reading it i had to swear to them that i would give them my HONEST opinion.

Lets just say i started the first book and i finished it that next day. hahaha! i was sooo embarassed tellin them i LOVED IT!

I read all the other ones within 2 weeks! THEY ROCK! So yeaaah..cant wait for the next one.

it's funny you mention it, Sheena b/c the same thing happened to me. I made fun of everyone for reading "kid's books" and said I could never be interested in a book about a boy who wears funny glasses and has lightning on his forehead 😆 boy did I eat my words 😕 ...one page and I was absolutely hooked to the level of obsession 😉

Same case here...I thought HP was completely kiddish (the illustrations are misleading at times) and didn't know why it was so hyped.

I didn't want to buy any of the books so I borrowed the 1st one from the library where I was working. I finished it in 3 hours flat (was not willing to put it down!)

Then I ended up buying all of them anyway! 😆 Cant wait for 16th July either!

had never heard of harry potter until the first movie released... and i believe that if a movie has been made from a book the book will be way better than the movie and thts how it was. i saw the movie and then i was i have to read this book at any cost, and they were a bit expensive over here and i cud not afford it just from my pocket money and by my luck i got hold of it from kazaa... all five i have as e-books as well as the others coz once my frnds came to kno i am HP fan u guyz wont believe they together with my bro and sis got all five hard cover books for me😃.

totally i have read all the five books 3 times!!

guess what even i finally watched one of the series. "The chamber of secrets". I think this is the second series if I am not wrong...

I don't know much about Harry Potter...but i did like it and guess what...my 3 year old watched the whole movie and she was not scared...rather i was scared in between sometimes...😳

i luv harry potter books but my sis doesn't 😕 😭 she hates it 😕 i even tried to make her read it , she read about 20 pages and then threw the book away 😭 she only sticks to reading enid blyton

I cannot believe that anyone can hate Harry Potter books after starting to read them....
