Today's Take ... Father, Son ... and Ghost?!

undefined

Day of shocks for father and son ...

First Dhruv meets up with a woman ... no, girl ... who looks exactly like his mother. So exactly like her, that Dhruv believes she IS his mother ... he asked for his mother back as his birthday wish ... and he got her back.
How beautifully simple is the working of a child's mind!

Rudra tells him, as gently and firmly as possible ... that the girl cannot be his mother ... it's impossible. But little Dhruv is not quite convinced.

The very next day ... to his utter and complete shock ... Rudra meets the very same girl. A ghost?! Or Bholenath playing a cruel joke on him and his son?

I cannot see Rudra falling for Myrah ... I see him running away from her as fast and as far as he can. I cannot see Myrah falling for Rudra either, as of now ...
But I do see a bond developing between Myrah and Dhruv ... where will it take Myrah and Rudra?

Added collages by ultimaterudra (shweta) ... awesome as always!

Am travelling ... sorry for the rushed update, will be back later for discussions.

The First Encounter - Dhruv and Myrah
Nice episode again ... the kids are adorable and bring in lightness and sweetness into the show. They even seem to have reformed Mohini! 😆
Starts with Dhruv apologising to Rudra again for making him angry ...Rudra has to reassure him that no, he's not angry ... but Dhruv isn't sure ... so he and Koel try to make Rudra smile ... cute bro-sis duo! 😆
Mohini comes in to scold Koel for blabbing to her parents ... Dhruv exhibits the first of his father's traits (also his mother's) ... protecting those he loves. 👍🏼

Rudra takes the kids to school ... disappears on the way on a phone call ... Koel walks ahead, while Dhruv stops to tie his shoelace. And so Dhruv is alone when Myrah, wandering through the market, having cheerfully hoodwinked her uncle, trying on men's turbans, loses her own hat ... which is saved by Dhruv.
She stops to thank him with cheerful smiles ... Dhruv stares as though struck by lightening.
And calls her mummy.

Myrah is horrified ... is her turban so bad?! 😆

He calls her mummy again ... Myrah, a little panicky, reassures him, takes the turban off, and looks around desperately for the mother of this poor child, whom she has inadvertantly scared so badly with her turbanned look. 😆

Koel comes back to pull Dhruv to school ... Myrah decides she doesn't want to buy such a scary turban after all. 🤣

And bumps past Rudra as he crosses her in the marketplace. 😳

Later at night, Dhruv tries to tell Rudra he saw his mother ... Rudra tells him firmly it can't be so ... because she's gone for ever ... and to himself, he adds ... it's all his fault.
Poor Rudra, living under that burden of guilt every single day, every single moment ... he failed to protect Paro. 😕

Next day, Dhruv tries to convince Maithili ... he did see his mother ... Maithili nods disbelievingly.
Dhruv tries harder ... he asked for his mother in his birthday wish ... he prays to Bholenath to send his mother back ... Bholenath listened to him, and sent her ... why does no one believe him?

How simple and wonderfully clear a child's mind is!

Maithili tells him firmly ... Paro can't come back. But she lives on in him, Dhruv ... in his eyes, his smile, his laughter ...
That isn't quite enough for Dhruv.

The Second Encounter - Rudra and Myrah

Next morning, chirpy Myrah chatting to her parents gaily ... completely ignoring the waiting security officer appointed by her uncle ... or rather, assuming he can't be on time ... Indians never are.
Untrue ... this one is. And he's getting more and more annoyed every minute he waits ... informed by turbanned peon that 'Madam is on international call' ...

Finally Rudra loses it and walks off, dropping his wallet ... just as Myrah decides she could be wrong, and it might be a good idea if she checks out whether the guy has arrived or not ...
To find that he came ... and left ... so she runs after him, trying to stop him ... finally calling out his name ...
'Rudra!'
And Rudra turns ... and sees ... a ghost from his past ... his Paro ...

And she confirms the resemblance by running to him, tripping and almost falling ... just in time for him to catch her .. just like Paro.

But how can that be??!!!

This girl talks ... and talks ... and talks ... in pure unaccented English ... she smiles, she laughs, no trace of shyness ...
Rudra stares shocked, as Myrah babbles on apologetically ... he doesn't see her any more, he doesn't hear her voice ... his entire being is suffused with memories of Paro crowding in ... Paro running across the sand ... Paro dancing in his arms in Jaipur ... Paro fainting in his arms at their first meeting ... Paro gazing at him under the pink dupatta ... Paro is his arms as he carried her into the haveli ... at the temple ... as they kissed, made love, and waited for their baby ... Paro as she lay dying in his arms ... his last sight of her body before the flames consumed her ...

till he can't take it any more ... and turns and runs ... leaving a baffled Myrah still babbling apologies and totally mystified ... she said she was sorry ... five to ten times, if not more ... why this strange reaction?!

Rudra ... and memories ... Paro promising that their love is lifelong, is ordained, is forever ... love is strong, it can move mountains ... Paro laughing, Paro loving him ...
Then why?! Why did Paro's Bholenath take her away from everyone she loved, and who loved her? She, who had so much faith in Him, in love, in hope, in laughter ... why did He take her away? Paro, who taught Rudra to love, to live again ... first He took her away, and now He's playing a cruel joke on Paro's innocent son. Bholenath broke Rudra's heart ... how can He be so cruel as to break the heart of an innocent child too?

Precap ... Rudra tells Maithili he too, saw the girl Dhruv saw ... Dhruv hears Rudra.

Hi Diya- What an emotional episode. Thanks for writing so beautifully.👏
Hi Shweths- Beautiful collages.👏

The episode was a mixture of pain, memories, acquaintance and a belief by a son that his mom is back. Here are some of my thoughts.😊

Cute moment- Dhruv can't bear the idea of his dad getting mad so he is out to woo his dad. Did he remind you all of Paro?😊 Loved how Dhruv and Koel imitated Rudra when he was trying to read the newspaper or of drinking tea. When rudra questioned, Koel said that we are trying to make you laugh, because you are mad. 😛 We have two cuties right here.

Subdued moment- Rudra said that he is not mad, he is alright. Dhruv realizes that Rudra gets sad at the talk of Paro and Rudra's reply made me cry "Kabhi Kabhi miss Karta hu teri Maa ko"😭 And he also says that his papa speaks less. Rudra- you miss her tons and we know it.

Caring moment- Loved how Dhruv stood up for Koel just like Paro and I realized that KCM has softened down too. Did anybody else notice that?😊

Exploring moment- Myra wants to explore India and it starts right from the turban shop and doesn't mind trying out the male turban. 😊 Sanny can just pull off anything and she did look cute. Of course, she likes taking selfies and she was full of life.

Numero Uno Moment of the day- Dhruv's laces open and he is tying it and Myra's hat falls and he is glad to pick it up. And who does he see in return? A lady who just looks like his mom. Dhruv hasn't seen much of Paro but he sees Paro's picture everyday, and so he feels connected to Myra.😊 Dhruv is also reminded of his birthday wish and he thinks this it. His expressions nailed it.

Stunning moment- Myrah is all about the hat and Dhruv is so zapped looking at her that he doesn't respond to Myrah's questions except that he said "Mumma". Myrah doesn't e realize that and she thinks that she is looking pretty scary. However, she is willing to look for his mom which was a very nice gesture on her part.😊 Had Koel not dragged him away, Dhruv would have questioned her. The way Dhruv kept on looking at her as if his dream came true.

Coincidence moment- Did anybody else like the crashing of Rudra and Myra at this point? Myrah said sorry but Rudra escaped his destiny this time.😊

Dad-son moment- Loved how Rudra was assuring Dhruv that he has taken a new assignment but Maithili will help him get ready and take him to school. However, Dhruv is somewhere else. He did tell his papa that he saw someone like his mom and she also kept a hand on his head.😊

Bitter-truth moment - Rudra's reply at this point teared me up.😭 He told Dhruv that your mom is not in the world anymore and we can live on memories, but not lies. He further said that stop convincing yourself. How hard it must have been for him to say these words and for Dhruv to listen to it. Your mom has gone to a place from where nobody comes back. She is not here because of me. Rudra- stop blaming yourself, please.

Anticipation moment- Rudra was fuming at Myra getting late today and Myra underestimated Rudra at this point. Generally, people are late but not this man and she did realize it later that he was on time.😊 Next time, she will be on time.

Moment of the day- Myra is finally running towards Rudra and she yells Rudra. Rudra is shocked and stunned and what an unbelievable moment that was. 😊 He did get flashbacks of Paro running in the desert, and Rudra does save Myra from falling down.😛 The CVs love flashbacks and once again we get Jaipur scenes, consummation night and Major's touching Paro's tummy. Rudra couldn't believe how this could be possible. Myra says sorry but is it possible for Rudra to listen? His world turned just upside down. Myrah is confused. I thought Myrah felt attracted at this point. What do you think guys?😛

Maithili-Dhruv moment- Dhruv tries his best to convince Maithili and loved Maithili's answer to Dhruv's question if he is never going to see his mom? Maithili said that she sees in Dhruv's eyes everyday, in his talk in his deeds.😊

Flashback moment- Rudra does flashbacks of Paro of how they were meant to be together, how the gudiya linked them forever, love has power in it. Guys, I don't want to go in detail about this because it makes me cry.😭

Rudra's question to God- Rudra's yell at this moment pierced everybody's heart. Today, Rudra questions God that why did he do like this? Paro trusted you, she believed in happiness, and always made other people happy. First, you snatched her and now my child. What is his fault? Don't give him this expectation otherwise his heart will be in pieces, don't give him Umeed?😭 How many of you felt his pain at this moment?

Since today's episode was all about hurt and loss, I chose "Pain" as the acrostic.

P- Penetrating (Rudra's world turned upside down after seeing Myrah)
A- Accelerated (His scream showed his frustration, hurt and loss of Paro)
I- Immeasurable (The Parud pain cannot be measured )
N- No end of (The pain is endless and I hope Bholenath gives happiness to Dhruv, Rudra and us by bringing back that one person in all our lives)

Brilliant acting by Ashish, Sanny and the child artists.👏 What a display of emotions ranging from pathos to confusion to refusal to hurt to loss.

Precap- Rudra has seen Myrah and he knows that she looks like Paro and he knows Dhruv has developed a soft corner for him. It remains to be seen how he takes care of this conflict.

Guys- I know that this has been a hard week for us but hoping everybody is doing good and has survived the shock. Wishing everybody a Happy Weekend.

Thanks for the thread diya and apt title.
Felt very emotional seeing little dhruv and Rudra still yearning for Paro. Ashish just nailed the final scene. Gosh it made me cry but it also highlighted that Rudra can never get over Paro cos she is part of him. He bottled up his emotions cos of his son and that burst out today after seeing Myrah who resembles Paro. So I really cant see Rudra falling for Myrah. My belief that Myrah is Paro is getting stronger with the flashback dialogues and scenes. Hope it turns out correct
Missing T, Shweta and Minu's posts and collages. So will comment later
Posting my take for your lovely comments
Again another emotional episode for me. The little kid Dhruv is a darling bas and for hsi sake at least I pray that his mom returns but as Paro wholly. In other means please CV's we want Myrah as Paro. And loved the final bit where Rudra breaks down and excellent acting by Ashish. I cried😭
So basically episode starts with the 2 litlle kids. Dhruv us Paro's replica seeking forgivness from his dad and says he knows he gets upset when he mentions about Paro. Rudra is a changed man and says he is not but does miss his mom and loved how Dhruv enacted how Rudra's face would be. The way the kids were trying to copy Rudra was nice. It did bring a smile on my face. Dhruv also knows his dad speaks less. Just like Paro understands everything about his dad even at this age. Koyal is such a cutie where she says they are trying to make Rudra feel better and says that she talks more than Rudra😆
Another qulaity of Paro in Dhruv was his standing up for Koyal when Kakisa came to hit her. Very protective like an elder brother which so reminds about Paro. She always stood up for her loved ones. Glad the CV's incorparted these qualities in Dhruv and which is why the father son relationship is good cos Dhruv understands his dad just like his mom
So hot and miss scene between Rudra and Myrah. But the highlight was Dhruv's reaction on seeing Myrah. Oh the little one was so stunned and I cried when he called her Mummy and Mamma. Myrah panicked but Dhruv was totally focused on her and thought his wish was fulfilled. The little still yearns for his mothers love but does not show it cos he knows it will affect his dad😭. Koyal had to drag him away but his eyes were on her. Sorry I could not focus on Myrah at all. My entire attention was on Dhruv. Superb acting by the little one
So he does confess to his dad about seeing his Myrah and Rudra is stunned and denies it immedialey. He says his mom has gone to a place where she can never come back. Awwie felt so sorry for Dhruv at that point. So it does rule out that Rudra knows Paro is alive if she is.
So the turning point of the episode was Rudra meeting Myrah. My god was he stunned. Loved all the flashbacks of Paro and Rudra. It was so nice and emotional as well.Felt so good seeing them. He was shocked and tried to touch her saying Paro and just ran away as of he was seeing a ghost. Myrah was confused
The scene between Dhruv and Maithili was good. The poor kid is so sure he saw his mom and also said his wish is fulfilled. I felt so sorry for him. And loved how maithili said she sees Paro everyday through Dhruv. And finally makes him laugh and diverts his attention
The final scene of the episode was the best for me. Everything about Paro was highlighted here. Loved all the flashback sequences and man was so sad to see him break down. He cursed god then saying she was a good soul, wanted all happy around her and u snatched her away from me and now my kid is being tested. Not to give him hopes and crash that also. He cant withstand it. Man I was weeping at that time. Ashish just nailed it. He does not want his son to undergo the same heart break he underwent.
Precap was Rudra telling mailthli that Dhruv was correct and he saw that girl. So he does not believe it is Paro and Dhruv over hears it.
I loved todays epi for Dhruv and Rudra. Saw all the pent up emotions of Rudra bursting out and it is like his wounds were ripped apart after seeing Myrah.
Bas I am still crying😭

Hello everyone... 🤗 Might I res my place here??? Will come back with a detailed update in the morning, had been very busy and now feeling sleepy!!!!
The episode was very good, too many shocks for the father and son on one single day...
~~~~~~~UPDATED~~~~~~~~~
This is what was missing for so long!!!! The audiences' emotional connect with the scenes... Also, the creative team of RR seems to finally settled somewhat in giving us an episode with a normal pace and some good scenes...
Dhruv and Koyal: Mission "Make Rudra smile"
Dhruv and Koyal trying to cheer up Rudra at the dining table, by imitating him at his actions... The blabber-mouth Koyal slips up and says that they were just acting to make Rudra smile... And the father-son convo - again am left speechless at how Dhruv is sensible beyond his years!!! By the end of it, Rudra does manage to smile, a bit!!!
Throw in some fun interference in the form of Mohini... And it's a nice, good, happy family morning at the breakfast table... 😆 By the way, it was nice to see Dhruv stand up for his sister - he truly is 50% Rudra and 50% Paro!!!! 😊
Dhruv and Myrah: The first meet
Well, Rudra planned to drop the kids to school, but had to conveniently disaapear on a call... Meanwhile, Myrah is trying on turbans, clicking selfies - quite obsessed with her own pics, isn't she??? 😉
Anyways, a flying hat falls near a shoe-lace tying Dhruv, while Koyal has walked on ahead... He picks it up to see Myrah - the poor kid is left stunned and shocked at this splitting image of his mother... Myarah, in her usual chirpy self says thanks, asks how she looks and all Dhruv can utter are the words "mummy... mamma"!!! Now genuinely worried that she might be actually be looking scary that the kid called for his mom... Some frantic calling for the mother of this kid, and Koyal comes back to drag her brother away to school!!! And Dhruv is still staring back at his "mother"...
Rudra and The return of the "Dead"
... Or should I say "Ghost"??? 😉
Well, cut to a Rudra waiting to meet his new client, while this very client is busy on a phone call to her mom - International, mind it...Going on and on about how people in India are never punctual!!! Well, that actually happens quite a lot of time... So, she keeps chattering away, oblivious to the fact that the new "security officer" is over-punctual, who lands up a few minutes before the appointed time!!! Walks out irritated after half an hour of wait and Myrah manages to think that the officer might have come, even if not she should at be on time and check up on his arrival... Comes downstairs to learn that he came and left... Oh oh, too bad, she runs after Rudra and calls out his name, and manages to slip as well... Rudra saves her and gets lost in all those flashbacks of his first glimpse of Paro, saving Paro, and all... Even when Myrah is speaking, he is too lost in the memories to even hear or realise that someone is speaking to him... Tormented, he walks awy, but still turns to look at her, to make sure that she not a mirage but real...
Rudra: And finally, the dam breaks!!!
Along with the skies, Rudra also breaks down!!!! He's held onto his emotions for far too long, just for the sake of his son... And, today on seeing this Paro look-alike, and all the barrage of memories and thinking about what his son had said the previous night about meeting his mom all the grief found a way out!!! Many must have been wondering why this sudden break-down after so long!! Maybe because, sometimes you just have to hide your sorrows and take over responsibilities what would force you to smile and just go with the flow... Maybe that's why on seeing someone who exactly resembles his Paro acted as a catalyst to all these shoved-away-into-some-far-corner of his heart and mind emotions... And to top it all, Rudra holds himself guilty and responsible for his Paro's death!!! 😔
Maithili and Dhruv:
Dhruv tries to convince his maasi that he indeed saw his mom in the market place and Maithili in her own ways tries to convince the little kid that he must have been mistaken... And sets about to bring a smile in her own ways on his face... Talking about Paro and how she can see his mother in his face, his innocent eyes, his nose... Sweet!!!
Well, this did not come out as good as it was intended to be... I guess I got too lost in the emotions of the episode today!!!!
For me the moment of the day was Dhruv standing in front of his sister to save her from KCM's backlash - that scene reminded me of Rudra standing in front of Paro and taking her slap.
the arms akimbo pose is so Rudra...
Paro is more firm and will try to talk to you, Rudra will just do his thandav. Looks like Mohini has calmed down to allow the child to dominate but then... ansh kiska hai 😆
Let me tell this - I liked myrah. Not because she reminds me of Paro but because she reminds me of Sanaya herself and brings a smile on my face. The bindaas attitude is pretty well done! Much needed levity in the otherwise emotional episode.
now, the CVs showed why they did not show emotional Rudra immediately after the funeral. Can u imagine a week of Rona dhona and he sees Myrah and again we would have to see it all over again. It loses the impact. Today, the impact was more... they put the episode on a Friday so like Rudra, we have time to grieve over the loss like him and wait for the story to unfold.
I heard a new director is directing these sequences, the emotional scene was well done. liked the use of RAIN, Gods too are crying!! And now his only prayer, dont hurt his child, dont build false hopes in his heart!! Ashish stole the show today - Kudos 👏👏👏
I request the CVs to continue with this sedate pace and not finish the track next week!!
I think the wedding will happen at Rudra's haveli... She wants no palace wedding 😆
The wallet.. his wife's photo? Or will it be a another reason to meet ? Or will she come to their house to drop it and fall in love with the house?
Today when I saw Dhruv with Myrah, I really wished it was Paro.. U know why.. not for Parud but for Dhruv.. I wrote elsewhere, she will not be his mother.. she can be his friend, guide and love him. But the brand of mamta that Paro would have doled out... for his sake, I wish they resurrect her from the dead 😡
I know the story is yet to unravel and I am already saying she cant do it.. I dont claim to understand the story or where they want to take it.. But from today's interaction itself.. how would Paro react if the kid had said mumma ?? That essence no one can bring in other than Paro..
i think of it and pray like I have not prayed in real life for myself
On the lighter side,
Bloopers galore:
CVs - Shiv had 3 eyes, u proved that Rudra too has one scar on his forehead.
now, u show that Rudra has 3 hands too... RR 2 special ?? 😆
The scene between Rudra and Dhruv, there is constantly a hand at hovering over his head which is not Ashish's. And u can see Rudra opening the book, using the left hand to straighten up.
And Rudra never saw Paro running (1st RR scene) ... that was Paro's dream Sirees.
Otherwise all the FBs were just perfect!! Beautiful.. and her voice over... Oh God. she is truly the messenger of love
Too much Shock and Too much Emotional.
Today's episode is neat paces properly executed episode.
Rudra - Dhruv shares a very good bond and they both compliment each other and understands the other with their expressions. I'm so touched by the way they show the bond of kids with Rudra. Definitely Paro has made him live his life though she is not around.
I always wanted (even b4 i know the spoilers) the kid to see Myrah first and not Rudra. And it happened where he believed that its his mom and he shared it with his dad. That scene btw Dad is son is touching and Kudos to Ashish for showing off his helplessness to make the son understand that his mom is no more.
Dhruv - Maithili convo. Dhruv insists again that he has seen his mom and his says about his wish to god. It showed the beauty of innocence that kids have. So neat. The way Maithili was Dhruv showed the bond and love they share.
Rudra - Paro meeting. Both Sanaya and Ashish were bang on. Both the actors were so good in emoting the scene. The same girl who played Paro 3 days b4 has played being Myrah and behving as though she has never seen Rudra. Wow to SI that she is getting into the skin of Myrah and she is going to rock it too.
Once again Rudra in state of Shock. He remembers his Paro, his love and the he is struck, he is running away. He breaks down completely. He argues with god for what he did with Paro. She doesnt deserve to loose a life which she always dreamt off and its not nice to play with the emotions of their child again by all this happening. He is concerned about their child and he wants to protect hs son and he wants to be a good dad for his son just for the sake of Paro.
I'm touched by todays episode.As we all know and as Diya mentioned Rudra will surely run away from Myrah, bcoz he clearly understands that it is not Paro and he cant love her just for the fact she looks like Paro. Myrah is not some one so easily comes out of her perfect life and a destination marriage to fall in love with a widower and child's father. But the poor kid thinks that Myrah is his mom Paro. How Rudra and Myrah is going to handle all this is what RR is all about now.I'm in for the ride and i hope it works in every aspect for the show . I'm sincerly wishing for the writers to hold on to their proper wisdom and get the best of story line where i can enjoy two good actors to make it believe that its real
Diya,
Just in time to read your take. Apt title.
It was emotional seeing Dhruv with Myrah and calling her Mamma...the kid and Sanaya acted very well. Sanaya's confused expressions are nice. Loving the kid already.
Ashish bang on expressions in the last scene. Rudra kept his pain inside all these 7 years and today he can not keep it and want to ask Bholenath why he took away the innocent Paro who made him laugh and taught him to live.😭 Very emotional !
Liking Maithili as Masi and as big sister/ bhabi to Rudra. At least he's comfortable to share some things with her. Love their bond.
Shweta nice collages and the quote is so emotional, it's true no one tells what we have to do now...just want to cry and that's what Rudra did and we fans also.
Emotional episode with good pace.
