Zulfi Sayeed, who played the young Shah Jahan in Akbar Khan's Taj Mahal, has voted a whopping 250 times so that Taj remains in the list of Seven Wonders of the World.
The former Mr. India is confident that Taj Mahal will be getting a place in the new list of Seven Wonders. "I did my voting long back and wherever I go I do call up friends and tell them to vote for Taj. I made a lot of friends while shooting for Taj Mahal. I still keep in touch with them. All the crew members of the film have promised me that they too will cast their votes."
Recalling his first visit to the heritages site, an emotional Zulfi says, "It's the most romantic place in the world. I was completely overwhelmed. If you really love someone, you should visit Taj Mahal."
Unfortunately this much hyped film bombed at the box-office. Soon he did Mr. Hot Mr. Kool directed by Parto Ghosh which also failed to make any kind of impact.
Currently shooting for Yahan Ke Hum Sikander directed by Ahmed Khan, which has bee pending for a long time due to financial matters, Zulfi says, "I believe in good scripts, that's why I do less films."
The official ceremony to announce the new Seven Wonders of the World will take place in Lisbon, Portugal on 7 July this year with Bipasha Basu as one of the hosts.
