But I am really not liking the way they are transforming Rehaan's character. I agree he loves Sanam but waiting to get married to her after three months of her marriage with Aahil..how sick is that. And moreover he is not even sure about Sanam's feelings. He doesn't even know what she thinks of him. How can he be so sure that she will marry him.

I am not sure I see anything wrong with R waiting for 3 months so that S can be free and he can marry her.
From his perspective:
- He believes she loves him because she hugged him (girls, like S has been portrayed, do not do that randomly)
- She has spoken very nicely with him sharing personal stories; commenting on how good he is and how much she likes him (as opposed to ARI whom she hates)
- She accepted his gift of flowers for her hair (a very personal gift, not just a general bouquet to be arranged in a vase) and even allowed him to fix it up in her hair

Most guys would take that as signs that the girl is receptive to more tender feelings.
ARI tried talking to her, too (the clothes-line scene) but she dashed his hopes, he got mad, and then the whole washing-machine, rescue, and viewing her hugging R happened.
As you can note, even ARI thinks she loves R so why would R not do so?

As for waiting for 3 months to marry her...why would anyone want the love of their life to suffer in a relationship not of the choosing of their heart for their whole life?
Unlike what they push down viewers' throats about vows and sanctity of marriage, etc., a true relationship is one in which both parties have agreed to it with their whole heart and for the right reasons.
Otherwise that very touted sanctity is being abused.

So I see nothing wrong in R waiting for her for 3 months to marry her.
He believes she loves him back and so finds the thought of her in proximity with ARI difficult to bear, even trusting ARI (as he stated). Most people would.

I really didn't want Rehaan to wait because after three months, there is high probability of him turning grey and I really dont want to see such a sweet character to turn male billi.
