I have explained my reasons so many times.
1. As far as I am concerned, Saravanan treated Poongodi as dirt. Whatever reason he may have had, there was no justification for him to treat her like that. Playing with her emotions - one minute saying that he does not love her, then rushing to the hospital to say that he loves her, and then denying that he loves her. Mentally and emotionally and physically abusing her - slapping her, pushing her. Avala alaya vachan. I tell you guys. NO WOMAN DESERVES THAT KIND OF TREATMENT. And what interaction was there for us to say that they love each other? Heck Surya and Devi spent more time together! And making poi sudam sathiyam in front of God, in a place of worship...isnt that a sin? He is a coward and a weakling. When Vani rescues him, he says everything that happened is Poongodi's fault. 😡 and by the way, if he did not want to marry Poongodi because of his family, what guarantee is there that he would stand by her if his family faces problems? Let us say that they do get back together and Mano with the two Anacondas then confront them - Mano using emotional abuse and the two Anacondas using mental and verbal abuse?? Do you think Sara would stand by Poongodi or send her out with her parents because HIS parents were being abused, insulted and humiliated?
2. I hated Karthik from the beginning. I only changed my mind when he apologised to her in the ice cream parlour and said he lost. Yes, he planted a bomb - because of the love for his grandfather. Yes,he played around with Sara's hall ticket but Gautham kidnapped him as well. I am not bothered about all that now because people can change. The minute he found out that Poongodi was his cousin, he changed. Yesterday I saw an old episode where Manikam yells at Rani when she pleads to him in the temple and then later at home, he advises someone not to lose his temper and let bygones be bygones. Karthik then asks his mother why his grandfather practised double standards. He was really mean to that lady in the temple and yet here he is advising someone differently. Karthik lied. Only to his parents. Saravanan lied. To his parents and to God. Which is worse?
3. As Kalki said, Karthik tried so hard to win Poongodi's love. Sara tried so hard to lose it.
4. Finally, the least convincing reason why I am for Poo-Karthik. It is still a factor. Whilst I have met and discussed this issue on a mature level with PS fans in IF and one fan in yt, some people people are aggressive, hostile, rude, rabble rousing and insulting. That in itself put me off.

Seriously, I dont mind how it goes. Having seen how the other serials are going, VR is really superior. I will continue watching it. If VR team thinks Poo should be with Sara, so be it.
