I just came in to say that am still watching RR and am gonna watch Season 2 as well . RR has been struggling from Day 1 and yet it has been one of the most watchable shows for me at least. The makers began by telling a different story , inspite of a fantastic first week and the weeks that followed, trps did not come - they tried all the different and run-of-the-mill twists - some worked and some did not work. Still, trps did not come, even though the show's popularity was astounding. Infact, the makers never really got to tell the story that they wanted to tell because the trp audience did not give them any support. No matter what they tried, something or the other would go wrong and it did seem that they lost the self-faith they had in the start. That is what rejection and too many cooks can do to you and your effort.

And what do TV people make shows for? Business. For viewers, its story, characters, emotions and all that jazz , but for others its salary and profits. For that, the maker's biggest concern is to KEEP THE SHOW ON AIR, by hook or by crook.

I totally get it that where are the makers coming from and as much as i feel that RR deserved better, i can see that they are only trying to save the show. When shows struggle, the whole team struggles and the aim is to save the ship.

For me, RR was always an ODD but a GOOD watch. I almost liked Season 1 and I am going to give a fair chance to the makers to see if they can keep me in Season 2.

Its someone's hard work, bread and butter , someone's labour of art , money and emotions. And i refuse to trash it down, inspite of not agreeing with a zillion things.

So, here's looking at you Rudra-Myrah-Dhruv. All the best.

This Twist is no Hamlet or Jurassic Park's screenplay, but if it can save the show, it serves the purpose that it is intended for.

And ya, if you want to abuse/bash/trash ST, MD, GH and team, keep it to yourself. Don't decorate my post with your swear words and how you will like to 'twist their necks'. BACK OFF.

P.S- Please do NOT feel free to rage, rant and spew bashing darts in my post. This post is only for those who are still interested in RR.

Mein naa Rudradev ki pakki pujaran nikli... ek hi to vaada kiya thaa.. lekin woh bhi 24 ghante tak nibha nahin payee aur aa gayee wapas... IF ki pyaari se duniya mein.

Vicky, can you please prick yourself? Khoon ki jagah kahin liquid magnet to nahin daud raha naa aapki rago mein... that all of us get pulled towards you like a string of "U" pins...

RR was my window to TVpur and now there is this thing about Version 1.0 and 2.0... unfortunately meri samaj se bahot door hai and I am still scratching my head ki why everytime is a desparate time for the makers of the show that they take desparate measures all the time for its survival.

Nevermind, but now that I am back, having eaten my words of tata bye bye, may be I will try and normalize my viewership for the new version, albeit with the able combination of your perspective...

Sorry for this no-head or tail response.. I reserved it only to realize that I had bid adieu...and I was the first one to R...confused cutlet that I am... aur yeh version 2 ka sunke aur bhi fry ho rahi hoon...

I have to admit, I have been a negative nancy ever since news of Paro's death came out but I think over the space of a couple of days, I've kind of accepted it.

RR team tried everything they could, the original concept, the small twists and heck they put everything in it to try and gain TRP's. Now what were they going to do? continue to show us Parud and still not gain any new TRP's? Don't get me wrong, I hate that Paro's gone but they needed to do something dramatic didn't they? Something that would enable them to redesign the whole show, where it would make sense to change the characters etc..

I'm going to watch the 'season 2' and then judge it. There is absolutely no point, making conclusions and judgements from the SBB segments as it's not the real thing. I also know the actors will give it their all.

I do think that RR has the chance to gain some TRP's now. The 'modern' look will bring in more viewers.

Parud will always be the reason why I loved RR but I'm not just going to sit here and be all negative. We have to accept what has happened and have to respect that CV's wouldn't have done this if their original storyline worked.
