Wonderful post!
I have to admit, I have been a negative nancy ever since news of Paro's death came out but I think over the space of a couple of days, I've kind of accepted it.RR team tried everything they could, the original concept, the small twists and heck they put everything in it to try and gain TRP's. Now what were they going to do? continue to show us Parud and still not gain any new TRP's? Don't get me wrong, I hate that Paro's gone but they needed to do something dramatic didn't they? Something that would enable them to redesign the whole show, where it would make sense to change the characters etc..I'm going to watch the 'season 2' and then judge it. There is absolutely no point, making conclusions and judgements from the SBB segments as it's not the real thing. I also know the actors will give it their all.I do think that RR has the chance to gain some TRP's now. The 'modern' look will bring in more viewers.Parud will always be the reason why I loved RR but I'm not just going to sit here and be all negative. We have to accept what has happened and have to respect that CV's wouldn't have done this if their original storyline worked.Wonderful post.
Since you replied to my previous post , making a fresh one vickysa ...
Finally found a post where I could make a reply ...As a forum ...we tend to overreact on everything ...myrah is a new character ...rudra out of guilt has left bsd and probably now takes care of the family food business or has a security business ...this is rangrasiya part 2 ...Why so much mocking of the show , Ph , CV's etc ...if the original show would have got them the ratings ...they wouldn't have changed it . But unfortunately that didn't happen ...I understand ppl are very attached to parud and paro's death has been horibble ...but I just want to say for ppl like me who wish to give this new story a chance ...coming to the forum has become an absolute nightmare ! Their is not one post you can contribute too or be a part off ...Honestly vickysa ...I don't see the new version getting the PH the desired ratings , especially because the channel is just not giving any promos for such a huge track change ...RR will wrap up either by Oct or maybe by Dec ...but I understand why they did so ...its their bread and butter and their business venture .Wish the forum could just become a little sane and normal š

A great post. Thanks Vicky, it will at least bring in a bit of semblance of order in the forum.
š¤ for coming back.I have been saying the same since yesterday, we need to give a chance. As far as I know, they along with other few shows were given an ultimatum, either freshen it up or leave. They have taken a bold step by not doing a season 2 and revamping the storyline.A lot goes into making a show. I have been a part of this business and I know. Its true, they have struggled from the very beginning and I just hope they do well this time around. M&B with twist ka tadka kind of things work well with the TRP audience, so all the very best to the whole team.I am so looking forward to the new storyline.

Vicky Sa, u r back!!š¤
Can I just politely disagree on the first para of you post? As I see it, they never had any self faith in themselves. Maybe for us the definitions are different but what I feel is if one has confidence on their work, they do not compromise with it so soon.Good or bad, a show gets atleast 6 months to prove itself and Rangrasiya had it for sure, we all know that. What was the need to change the tracks so soon? Every show needs some time to build up the story, and they never gave it to the show. They were only too eager to insult their own creativity by rushing with things, maybe coz they were too greedy for TRPs, maybe coz they were overconfident and disappointed when it didn't work out, maybe they wanted to please everybody, I don't know. All I know is for whatever reason they did it, it didn't work. And I know that it displeased some of the loyal viewers, at least I wasn't happy. I'm not saying I didn't like it at all, but I could have liked it better.Anyway, I will continue watching it for exact same reasons you have stated. It's a new story for me, I have no big expectations from these CVs, I'll watch it for the actors and their hard work. And well, honestly also coz I wouldn't be able to live without seeing the end of itšKeep making posts Vicky Sa...forum misses you!š

I love it when people disagree with tameez and adab.š... yes, our definitions of self-faith are different and i agree with you to an extent. But i guess many of us need to know that all channels give ultimatums of different time periods to their shows. 3 months... 2 months... 6 months... what matters is the report card and the channels want it faster than we think, at times.Anyway, lets see how RR 2 fares.
