Just wanted to start a discussion on today's episode. To quickly summarize -
Everyone finds out that Modi Industries is going bankrupt (via newspaper). Suresh asks Pallavi for help, but she refuses stating that her money is for her children. Dadi scolds Pallavi again, but Pallavi throws a fitting response back.
Sharda breaks down at the other end, calls the house her temple, and off she goes to Modi Mansion where she tells those looking around the house to leave. Pallavi asks her what she is doing, and Sharda begins her "this is my world, my memories, etc." speech. Pallavi tells her that the house means nothing to her and challenges Sharda to save the house.
Precap: Auction begins, Pallavi wondering where Sharda is ..
* Oh there was a bunch of cute and sweet scenes involving KaSak. My favorite one is when Karan and Sakshi go out to eat ice cream and Sakshi wants chocolate but Karan says to give her the milky one. Sakshi asks why and Karan says that by eating milky ice cream, the baby will be "milky-milky" 🤣

So how exactly will Sharda get enough dough to win the auction (since that's the only way possible). Her factory isn't worth squat, her name isn't powerful enough to have banks give her a huge loan (and she doesn't even have anything to offer as collateral since they are renting their house). The only way I think it's possible is for Meeta to offer Sharda a blind loan based on nothing but trust. [Question: did she give the blank check to those poor people yesterday? still have to catch up on that epi]
I was also irked by Dadi (like usual) ... is the house really worth that much to her that she tells Pallavi that she is selfish. Pallu was thinking of her kids, which is more important than saving a house that would ultimately look like it was because of Sharda's grace to the old woman. She was right - the house never accepted her, so why should she save it? Saving the house isn't going to make her the new and preferred "bahu" or Dadi or anything ...
Finally, anyone notice a striking resemblance of lack of understanding, carelessness, and stupidity with those who bare the Modi name.
Let's start from the top:
Dadi - that's twice she goes and insults Pallavi after someone says something very important (1st was after Dadi finds out Shanaya burned the factory, 2nd was today)
Suresh - he doesn't confide in anyone about the current state of the business and when things end up bad, he just wants magic money? It's pretty much like 35-40 years ago. Suresh wants money, gets married to Pallavi, uses FIL's money to create his own business, and go marry another chick. This time it would be - use Pallavi's money to save his own business and continue thinking about how much he regrets choosing Pallavi over Sharda.
Sharda - her niceness makes her seem like she can conquer everything thrown her way. Even when she is angry, she doesn't ever look angry ... one second she wants to create her own identity and the next she decides that business isn't her goal, identity was. Now she is off trying to save a house. I understand the emotional relationship she has with it, but I wonder what she will do to save the house.
Kids - Karan leaves his job because they launched an investigation on some anonymous tip. He doesn't even wait to prove himself. Latika often flips between husband/kid and business. Chirag threatens Shanaya.
