How did your production house sign Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, who's new to Bollywood, to star opposite you in the remake?
We auditioned a lot of actors for the film (her next) and thought he would be right for the role. He's big in India as well. I don't know anyone who watches TV and doesn't know Fawad. In fact, he has a bigger fan following than me. We were shooting for a TV show recently, and there were girls taking pictures of his van even when he hadn't stepped out. And it [the decision to cast him] has got nothing to do with being an Indian or a Pakistani; an artiste is an artiste.

^I love the artiste is an artiste part. People everywhere need to stop this Pakistan vs India thing. I mean don't HW stars come here to roles once in while or stars go to different countries/HW, etc. Then why should it matter? The hate for him is so irrational and delusional.

the hate for him in IF is mostly because he has the most number of fans here, u know generally i have my indian friends who tell me that for them fawad is their most favourite, not even an indian actor but fawad. Its not like every1 is hating on him but a significant number of ppl are dissing him becos of his nationality and thats regressive, they do have a problem when he is hogging so much of limelight.

But as a GIRL i must say, its crazy to hate him once u watch his work..😆
