Why does Sujoy Ghosh wants to work with Katrina?

I just read this highly disturbing article:

Katrina Kaif, who has big releases lined up this year, reportedly, has been approached for Sujoy Ghosh's next.

According to Lehren video magazine, Katrina Kaif may soon be seen playing a single mother in Sujoy Ghosh's next, which will based on a Japanese novel 'The Devotion Of Suspect X'.

Sujoy is known for giving his actresses a special place in his films. Bollywood was all praises for Vidya Balan in Kahaani which was directed by Sujoy Ghosh. It will be a treat for Katrina's fans to see her in a different avatar.

That Abhishek Kapoor casted Katrina for Fitoor wasn't a big surprise. He already stated:

This young director has set off a hot debate. Are our Indian girls truly being sidelined to favour foreign actresses? Yes, believes Abhishek Kapoor, director of the hit Rock On!!!. He took to his social networking page yesterday and vociferously stated, "Our Indian girls are being sidelined to favor this Caucasion invasion. STOP this madness and recognise our own beauties. I have no prob with a Caucasion girl playing a Caucasion. But selling her as a Punjabi or an Indian is deluding the audience and also making the Indian naive woman feel inadequate. Extremely harmful to their psyche and people in power should be more responsible."

and who is more Indian than Katrina? She loves yellow sauce, she loves Indian men, she loves speaking hindi, she loves eating jalebi, she loves spicy food, she loves wearing saris, and she loves all the money she makes in India.

But Sujoy Ghosh casting Katrina seems like a nightmare. I actually like Suspect X! One of the best Japanese movies I have ever seen. I also loved Kahaani...so can Sujoy please please please cast Vidya again? Or Kangana? Or take that annoying Jacqueline! BUT PLEASE NO KATRINA 😭
