RERUN UPDATE - 22.06.07 - The Winner Is

Before I start today's update, I have a very important question to ask – raat ko bachha jab nahin sota hai to ma usse kya kehti hai? 😉

Sochho sochho.

Kya kaha – woh kehti hai – "so ja beta, nahin to Gabbar aa jayega."

I'm afraid, that's the wrong answer.

GM BOARDROOM

Today's episode starts with Sheetal Ambuja complaining that she cannot wait anymore. Purab then says that he would make his presentation first as Armaan was not yet there. He says that his collection celebrates the independence of marriage – the independence to choose your own life partner, the independence to spend the rest of your life with the person of your choice.😳👏

In the meantime, outside GM, Armaan bribes a bandwalla to play the band when GM makes its presentation (lagta hai writers Armaan aur Aryan ke beech confuse ho gaye hein; aisi harkatein to Aryan karta hai!!!😆)

Armaan strolls into the boardroom, just as 3T's presentation is about to finish. (btw, Armaan ke suit ke collar ko kissi chuhe ne kutar diya tha kya?????)😆 Anyway Armaan goes up on the ramp and starts talking and Sheetalji starts making faces (she reminds me of Paris Hilton😆). Armaan says that today we have come to celebrate the sadness of love and marriage. Jassi and all the others look at him incredulously – ki what is he saying? He then says that relax, I was just joking. As they say, love and marriage are celebrated even in Heaven.

The GM models then come on the ramp. Suddenly the band starts playing. The models don't know what to do. Jassi talks to the models backstage. When they come back onto the ramp, the band is playing 'Sade nal raho ge to aish karoge…ho jayegi balle balle', so the models start doing bhangra. Jassi and Maddy are very happy and Purab uncle to aise khush ho rahe hein, jaise ki woh jassi ke rival nahin balki papaji hon. (the writers are berry berry confused, I tell you!!!😆)

Jassi then gives a portfolio to Sheetal and tells her that they have drawn the inspiration for the portfolio from a painter. The way a painter gets inspired by something's beauty and puts all his colours into his painting, the same way we have made this collection exclusively for you. We have been inspired by your beauty, your smile, your personality and have kept them in mind when preparing these designs. These designs are not for a boutique, they are solely for Sheetal Ambuja (wah kya makhan lagaya toone Jassi, zaroor Amul ke factory mein kaam karti hogi GM se pehle😆).

Sheetal tells everyone that she will let them know her decision the next day.

WALIA HOUSE

Billo papaji is very impatient to know what happened during the presentation. He calls up Purab to find out and bebe teases him saying that why are you asking him, is he your son-in-law? Papaji says that when Jassi and Purab can both do such good work separately, if they worked together, they would create a riot.

WALIA HOUSE

Mamma is asking Babaji to make Jassi's collection a success that day. Jassi tells her to pray for Purab also. She says that maybe some other day, but today I will pray only for my daughter (awwww, she's such a cute and cuddly typical Indian mamma😳). Billo papaji prays in his mind that Babaji do something that next time we won't need 2 separate prayers – just one will suffice. (I didn't know that log prayers bhi ghuma-phira ke karte hein😕).

ARMAAN'S CABIN

Puru says to Armaan that he is not at all surprised at the intelligence with which Jassi handled the situation. If she carries on like this, he has no doubt that GM will become a profit-making company in 6 months. Armaan thinks that he will never let GM recover its losses. (the writers are again losing the plot – Armaan has always, and I say ALWAYS put GM above everything else – whatever he did so far – whether it was to get engaged to Mallika or to patao Jassi – it was always for GM. So his losing focus like this baffles me and is so not in keeping with Armaan's psyche). Puru tells Armaan that he was absolutely right in making Jassi CEO.

WALIA HOUSE

Bebe and Amrit are wishing Jassi all the best and giving her dahi-cheeni, when Purab comes to pick her up. He asks her whether she had her breakfast. Jasssi says that mamma, bebe have already pestered me with these questions and now you have also started. She then tells him that irrespective of whatever happens in the boardroom today, they will always remain friends.

GM BOARDROOM

Purab, Jassi, Armaan and the staff are waiting for her royal highness, Sheetal Ambuja. A peon comes and informs them that she won't be coming, but has sent these letters instead. He gives a letter to Purab and another to Armaan. Armaan is about to open the letter when Jassi asks for it (yey lo, kaunsa koi lub letter tha jo Armaan nahin khol sakta bhala????😕) In the meantime Purab has already read his letter. He smiles happily as he looks at Jassi and says, "I knew it." The camera freezes on Jassi's face, her eyes brimming with tears.

SUSPENSE!!! (Kahaan ka suspense!!! Even my three year old can guess that GM has won the contract)😆!!!

Ok, time now for the right answer – raat ko jab bachha nahin sota hai to ma usse kehti hai – beta so ja, nahin to mera JJKN miss ho jayega!!!😆

awwwww what a wonderful update hansa, loved it seriously u should do it more often than just one day.

I just disagree on one part though, Arman didnt always put GM above everything else, he got engaged to Mallika to get chairman post .

He faked balance sheets to retain his chairman post which he wouldhave lost had he presented the true ones.

He pataoed Jassi so that GM doesnt go away from his hands .

Had he cared for GM, he would have presented the original balance sheets to the board , told them the truth not caring if he had the chairman posr or not.

At this point I shall refrain from any comments as like all other bhootnis I too am in the Devdassi a la Devdaas mood!!!

Armaan is being selfish now,I don;t know if its a character trait of Armaan or the writers are butchering Armaan's character. 😕

Oh I agree with you tanny, of course it is sheer plain butchering of Armaan's character by the uncreative creatives!!!!😆

After all they have to watch that Armaan doesn't outshine Jassi, what with the name of the show being "Jassi jaisi......." I liked it when Apu commented in the "Aap jaisa koi.... Jassi special..." {QUOTE } Armaan said "I thought this tilte would be after my name Armaan and I went and told my mom that this serial has the title Armaan, but after giving a few shots, I came to know that it is named Jassi jaisi.... ....."{UNQUOTE} and even sheepishly laughed and was sporting enough to joke about it too. Oooooh I love this guy so!!!! Apu you ar awesome~~~😳

I feel the title would be more suitable if the serial had been named -

Jassi ke Armaan sir!!!😆

Tina di I Do think Armaan always cared for gulmohur.Todays episode was absoultely crap.( td ingenious brain at work...armaan would never say things like he doesnt want gm to recover its losses...all this is so lame...I guess this where they wre really trying to ruin his chracter that IM so glad apu put his foot down...)

The only probelm with Armaan was that he thought Himself best for gulmohur and yeah a part of his ego couldnt see Aryan as chairman.

This phase hold no revelance....As TD didnt get the idea properly though.Im waiting for it to get back on track.😳

Of course not.Since purab's entry it deviated from blf track and goes back to blf After purab's exit! 😃

All this is td's crappy imagination.🤢 they could ateast copy properly na.😆
