Confusion regarding Nandu's age

Hi, I'm new to this forum. This is my 1st post.

I remember Nandu was born when Anandi was 12-13, which means that at present Nandu's age should be 15 -16...but he is still being shown as a child...I'm confused......why are the CVs not allowing him to grow up????
