What kind of a question is that ?? 😲.
We really need a fainting icon in IF..I need to use it to virtually dramatically faint at some topics...
I will not even attempt to discuss heroines who historically have stood toe to toe with heros and have surpassed them. But since I assume this question is about flower pot roles,

Yes, aboso-fing-lutely the leading lady matters. Even in flower pot roles, Even in ridiculous roles. Even Jackie. Even in Kick. The heroine matters. Even if she does not have a big fan base, even if she is just standing there holding a lamp as decoration unless we make broke back mountain in BW, the leading lady matters and is necessary, Khan or no Khan.

I don't think they matter a whole lot in most films. But having two A listers is certainly better than having one.

Yeah i agre wid him for this statement...even i feel kick gonna suffer due to the lack of top actress in it! Every A-lister heroes need top actress if they want movie to bcom ATbB be it srk or salman! There is no doubt that JF is btful n talented bt she is no where near to katrina or dpad when it come to stardom! Katrina dpd r now capable to bring extra 80- 90cr wid them bt cnt say the same thng for jackie!

Yes it does. More than being an A lister she should fit the role. Jackie is so hot in Kick that you dont even realize she isnt an A lister. Whereas Daisy was underwhelming.

Jacky has done what an A lister heroine does for a film. She got the entire Salman fan base energised for Kick after Jai Ho.
Sonakshi did the same with Dabangg👍🏼.she made the film so appealing..Salman's antics look cuter when he is serenading her(and Jacqueline in Kick)

The right casting of the female lead is important in making a film remain in the peoples minds over the years(Yes Ameesha was perfectly cast in Gadar..she made Sunny's entire struggle worth it)

MPK,HAHK,Dabangg..will remain some of Salman's best loved films among fans AND general public. Some other films may have made more money or got better initials..but he will be best remembered for being Prem and Chulbul ..Janta fell in love with the heroines.

Like I have said ,it is baseless to assume, that Katrina fans dont want to spend money and watch her on screen ,only Salman fans do.

Had Daisy Shah been cast in ETT,would it have made 186-199 crores?

Yes. For me it matters. I think of watching HNY coz dpad is in it. May try watching bang bang only coz HR-kat pair is hot. Never watched Raanjhana coz sonam is in it
