It was crude of Raman to bring Subbu up the way he did but at least he felt guilty. Not apologizing to Ishita was unfair but then, now she has left to Chennai and with with Subbu's impending return to the scenes, RKB is going to feel the jalan. I'm waiting for the next update. 😊

So attitude for Raman. Why Ishu should call him. He is rude to her. Subbu in the next part. Wow. Hope Raman get jealous. Pls post it asap. Now you can post the rest of the parts together. pls pm :) Its good.

Hey Guys and Girls ! Part 6 here.

Sorry, Subbu will be in the next part. I tried to put subbu in this one but it would make a part way too long (it's already more than 2K words!!!)

Part 6 : Raman misses Ishita

At his office, Raman spends the day thinking about Ishita. Numerous times, he is about to call her but stops himself at the last second. He gets more and more frustrated. He doesn't like the idea of being in bad terms with ishita.

Raman : "I guess I should make the first step and apologize... But how ?... I'll buy her a gift. Didn't ruhi said that women loved gifts? That will do!"

He leaves the office early and goes to the mall. He doesn't want to buy her a dress or jewelry as he already did that. He browses a few shops but doesn't find anything interesting.

Raman : "this jansi ki rani... I don't even know what would make her happy... Shagun was easier to please, I just needed to buy her something expensive. But Ishita... what should I buy?"

After some times he decides to go for the most classic : a bouquet of flowers and a card.

On the card he writes "I'll buy you all the couches of the world. Please don't be angry with me. PS : I know you love khaas pooss but the flowers are not for eating. Bewakoof aurat!"

At home, Nillu is making a snack for ruhi (there is nobody else). Once Raman arrives home, the first thing he does is to look for ishita. He goes in the room but she's not there. He puts the flowers and the card on the desk and goes to ask Nillu :

Raman : "nillu. Where is ishita ?"

Nillu : "I don't know bhai. I've just arrived with ruhi from school. Isn't Ishita maam in her room?"

Raman "No, she's not there."

Raman to himself "maybe she's not back from the clinic... I'll call her... No. I'll just wait. She'll be back in a few hours anyway." He looks around and decides to kill time with ruhi. Ruhi is sitting at the dinner table, drawing on a paper. Raman sits by her side.

Raman : "Ruhi beta, what are you drawing?"

Ruhi muttering: "nothing..."

Raman : "Aren't you a bit grumpy today? What's wrong ?"

Ruhi with tears filling her eyes : "I miss Ishimaa"

Raman : "Why are you crying like that? Ishimaa will be back in less than an hour once her work at the clinic is done."

Ruhi sobbing : "No she will not. Ishimaa left this morning!"

Raman : "what? Ruhi what did you say?" He gets anxious with what he just heard. Nillu comes and takes Ruhi away to console her.

Raman : "nillu. What is going on? Where is ishita?"

Nillu : "I don't know anything bhai. You should call ishita maam." To ruhi "No crying Ruhi. Come I'll give you ice cream." They go back in the kitchen as raman is left hanging in the living room. He starts having cold sweat.

Right then, Toshi and Simmi are back from the bazaar with fruits and vegetables.

Raman : "maa, where is ishita?"

Toshi : "Didn't she tell you?"

Raman: "TELL ME WHAT? Where is she?"

Toshi : "aree this madrasan too... She probably forgot to tell you. Calm down Raman beta. She left for the rest of the week. She went to a wedding. In the south I think".

Raman starts to feel better.

Raman "but she will come back right?"

Toshi laughs "of course! Why are you panicking like that? Did you think she left for ever? Dummy !"

Raman doesn't find it funny. For one second he truly believed that ishita had left him. He sits down, feeling like he just went down a roller coaster.

Toshi and simmi both laugh at him a bit more and then go to the kitchen.

Once ishita gets out of the plane, she takes a cab and go to her friend's place. In the cab she wants to call her friend to tell her she is about to come but she can't find her mobile. She looks in her hand bag but it's nowhere to be found.

Ishita to herself : "oh god... where is my mobile?... I might have put it in the suitcase. I'll have to wait to be at priya's house to look for it."

Ishita to the cab driver : "bhaya excuse me. Can I use your phone? It's very important."

Driver : "Yes didi, here."

Ishita : "thank you so much!" She dials the phone number on the invitation card.

Priya : "allo?"

Ishita : "Priya? It's me! Ishita!!"

Priya : "Ishita! I'm so happy to hear from you. Are you at the airport? I'm coming to get you."

Ishita : "No no Priya, don't worry about that, I've taken a cab. I'll be there in less than 30 min"

Priya : "this is not done ishita... Why did you take a cab? We wanted to come and get you!"

Ishita : "arre baba you have more important things to do right now! Your wedding is in a few days. You can't waste time running around. I'm telling you, don't worry, I'm already on my way. See you soon!"

Priya "acchaa, we're waiting for you! Can't wait to see you!! Bye"

Ishita "bye!" Ishita is very happy. She gives the phone back at the driver.

After some time, she arrives at Priya's house.

The house is very decorated, everyone is in festivity mode. She greets everyone, then priya shows her the guest room.

Priya : "this is the guest room. I'll let you freshen up and rest a bit, when you're done, meet me in the living room, we have so much to talk about!" They hug each other and Priya leaves.

Ishita looks for her mobile in her suitcase but she can't find it. She gets worried. She dig in her mind to find where she did put it.

*FLASHBACK*

Ishita is half sad half angry that Raman didn't pick up the phone. "Who does he thinks he is this ravan kumar!? Not answering my phone call... Unbelievable! What if I had something urgent to tell him? What if something had happened to ruhi!? Whatever." She throws her phone on the bed and gets her suitcase ready

*END OF FLASHBACK*

Ishita : "Ayoo murugan! I must have forgotten to take back the phone after I threw it. Ravan kumar is right, only half of my brain is working... how am I going to contact everyone now... Ishita! This is not right!" she blames herself.

After some time, Ishita comes in the living room.

Priya : "Ishita? Come come! Sit right next to me. What do you want to drink? Juice? Tea? Coffee? Are you hungry? Just tell me what you want, I'll ask the cook to make it for you."

Ishita : "arre baba calm down! Calm down!" They both laugh. Ishita agrees for a coffee and samosas.

They start talking about their own lives.

Ishita : "I can't believe you are getting married. It feels like yesterday with were still kids, playing around. Gosh, I'm feeling nostalgic."

Priya : "you're right! High school times were the best, weren't they? Our little group of friends was so perfect! You, me, Arvind, and subbu!"

Hearing Subbu's name. Ishita's smile fades. Priya realizes her mistake.

Priya : "i... I'm so sorry Ishita. I've heard your engagement with Subbu broke..."

Ishita recomposing : "No... it's nothing. Whatever happened was for the best I believe." Then she changes the subject "By the way, I know nothing about the groom. Tell me everything about him!"

P : "His name is Ragav Anandra. He works as an engineer. He's such a sweet guy! Just my type."

Ishita smiling : "Ragav Anandra? This name is familiar. Do I know him?"

Priya : "Most probably ! He was in our high school too! I didn't know him until I met him at the high school reunion, last year. It was instant love. Actually, Subbu introduced us! It's too bad you couldn't come! Almost everyone was here!"

Ishita : "I've been very busy for the past couple of months, I couldn't make it..."

Priya : "Well, I can understand. I've heard you're married now! You didn't invite me, that's not done Ishita..."

Ishita : "I'm really sorry. It was so sudden, and so much was going on. My mind was all over the place. My mom invited lots of people but I didn't invite anyone myself."

Priya : "well I'm not going to blame you. I'm just so happy you could make it at my wedding."

Priya then says "By the way, I should probably tell you... Ragav and Subbu are best friends, so Subbu will be at the wedding too. I hope that's not a problem? Sorry I didn't tell you earlier, I was afraid you wouldn't come." Priya looks genuinely worried.

Ishita : "It's nothing like this. I don't have any hard feeling for Subbu. It won't be a problem to see him at the wedding. Don't worry!"

Priya :" Ishita! You're simply the best!!" They hug each other.

Ishita : "By the way. I've forgotten my phone at home. Can I use yours to tell everyone I've arrived safely?"

Priya : "No problem, you can use the land-line anytime you want."

Ishita "thank you!" She goes to call her mother. Then she calls toshi. After she's done, she asks toshi to put ruhi on the phone. Toshi does so and goes into the kitchen.

Ishita : "my baby ru! How are you? I'm missing you terribly over her. Is everything alright at home?"

Ruhi : "ishimaa!! I'm missing you too. But you know ishimaa, papa is missing you even more. When he got back from the office, he thought you had left him like Shagun mummy did."

Ishita feels bad. "Ru beta, put papa on the phone please."

Ruhi : "acchaa ishimaa." After some time "ishimaa? Papa is in the bathroom right now."

Ishita : "alright then. I'll call later. Bye baby!"

Ruhi "Bye ishimaa!" and she hangs up. Then she goes to toshi : "dadimaa, meri ishimaa se baat ho gayi, now I'm going to play with shravan."

Toshi : "alright mera beta, you go but be careful."

When Raman gets out of the bathroom he changes into casual clothes and goes in the living room, ruffling his wet hair with the towel. He hears Toshi and Simmi talking about ishita.

Toshi : "it's good to hear that she reached there safely. I didn't like her travelling alone like that. But mata rani will be with her."

Raman : "Maa? Did ishita call?"

Toshi : "yes puttar. She called to tell she arrived safely."

Raman : "did... did she ask to talk to me?" he asks hesitantly

Toshi : "I don't think so puttar. She asked to talk to ruhi though. Our little princess was so happy to hear from her."

Raman throws the towel in anger. And goes back in his room.

Toshi : "arre what is wrong with him now? Uff we don't get a moment of peace in this house. When the madrasan is here, he's not happy. When she's not, he's not happy either. "

Raman in the room. "this madrasan. She didn't even ask to speak to me. She puts on her "perfect biwi" act all day but as soon as she is out of the house, she doesn't care about me at all. Hypocrite woman!" His eyes fall on the bouquet of flowers he had bought for Ishita. He takes it and throws it in the bin angrily.

At night Ruhi decides to sleep with toshi. Raman is alone in his bed. He can't seem to fall asleep. At 2 am he gets frustrated. He sits up. Without ishita the bed feels too big for one person. He doesn't like it at all.

Raman :" Why can't I fall asleep? what did this jansi ki rani do to me? Surely, it's some madrasan's dark magic. Whether she's here or not, I'm bound to suffer!" He doesn't want to admit that he misses her.

He decides to call her even if it's really late: "If I can't sleep, I don't see why she should be able to." He dials the number, and sniffs, getting ready for a nokjok session with his Jansi ki rani but he feels something vibrating in his own bed. He looks around and finds ishita's phone with "Ravan Kumar incoming call" written on it.

Raman : "She goes at the other side of the country but won't even take her phone with her... Bewakoof aurat." He shakes his head in disbelief. He sits still on the bed for a moment, not knowing how he will spend the night as he doesn't feel sleepy at all. Now, he admits to himself that he misses her. He looks at Ishita's side of the bed.

Slowly he takes her pillow and brings it to him. He smells it, closing his eyes. He can smells ishita's shampoo on it and he feels immediately better. He understands why ruhi can't seem to fall asleep with her ishimaa and why she keeps playing with her hair.

He throws his own pillow away and decides to sleep on ishita's one. He falls asleep very quickly.

Part 7 : Subbu - Ishita confrontation

I know i told you guys that subbu would be in this part but unfortunately he is not. I needed to write this part before the one with subbu so that it all makes sense. But kasam se, subbu will be in the 7th part. Then there will be the final 8th part. Sorry again.😕 Please don't be mad at me.
