I was going through articles while I came across this and was pretty much surprised.
Colors wanted Vivek Mishra as a wild card entry and to be a mix of Andy and cross dress like Palak to boost the ratings.
It makes me feel like they brought in Malishka for the space.
Vivek Mishra: I refused to cross dress like Palak for Jhalak
Vivek Mishra, best remembered for his stint in Bigg Boss last year, was apparently approached to compete for a wild-card entry in dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
However, the nude yoga guru, who has a penchant for dance, turned down the offer as he was asked to cross dress like Palak (Kiku Sharda) on the show.

He says, "They wanted me as a mixture of Andy and Palak, to boost the ratings. Andy is colourful and queer and that's his personality. They wanted a cross-dresser, as Palak is represented as a woman. But I wanted to be myself, I am not comfortable being someone else. I would prefer to wait for the right reality show rather than just take up any offer."
