RR is a family drama. It needs a mixture of things happening to appeal to the audience. Its not a rudra paro show.
Whats disturbing is people wanting to see this pair 'romancing' all the time, why people want to watch a full episode of consummation is beyond me. Seriously?? The beauty of our indian serials is keeping our culture and traditions in tact. I'm sure there are many other shows you guys can watch if you wanted 😳 lol. I know I couldnt watch a whole episode of this with my hubby..he will just give up lol!
I think its time we all chilled out and see what happens with the story...sanaya and ashish (actually all the actors in RR) are awesome, they all need to show us their brill acting. To be honest im enjoying every bit of it. 👏 👏
My first ever post,, please be gentle lol

I dont want a full episode of consummation. My only complain is that today's episode dont hve a continuity. If I hven't seen sbb, I would hve wonder why Rudra take a dressed up Paro outside home just after finding out abt her fear. I had/having a serious problem with the editor. And also I didnt sign up for a family drama while I started watching RR. It is not only the romance, which I want but a gripping screenplay telling through the leads of the show. Not through any side characters. So little frustrated the way RR is going nowadays. I rest my case here.

I too find this whole SR drama disturbing. Why? Because most married people get their groove on waaayyy before Indian serial, couples do. Lol. The fact that it happened sooner than later is unbelievable! But bravo for CVs making it a natural progression. He wanted to show his wife happiness does exist. One thing lead to another and finally they are one. That is normal. Terrorism, passion, 8 year relationships, shootings, arms dealing, wives dumping their families for 15'years? Is that "family drama? Wow!,

the reason is it was sold to us as a intense love story, not a family show/drama i agree should be there, i am here for the love story, and i do not think the viewers are asking for a whole episode of it, but just do not rush it thru...just for the sake of it...and make it comfortable for both actors and viewers...

RR is not supposed to be a family drama. It is Paro & Rudra's story. Continuity has been disrupted by Jhalak plain and simple. Consummation was nice, but if we had seen our couple together for previous episodes, it would have had more impact. Shantanu track is as dull as Laila's. No suspense or fear. If this is Othello, then check out Saif's acting in Omkara for accuracy. We are seeing more saas bahu nonsense, but we watch for PaRud bottom line!
Thought of all this after first post.

Ok I understand people being disappointed if they've had to subscribe for a particular show and they're not getting what they're paying for. But for us guys in the uk it's free...but to be honest i'd pay to watch this show 😉

Welcome to the forum.

I hope you enjoy your time with us. To be honest I also signed up to watch a show about Rudra and Paro and their love story. I may also be from the UK but even I have to think like the audience in india and to be honest always having Parud on the screen is not always a good thing. To move any story along there has to be other characters and their stories too. Then what's the use having other people part of a show. I for one am still loving the show even with the drama going on. I will however admit that for me 20th June's episode was much better than today's. The SR was a bit rushed even in my opinion but I will also say that I couldn't watch those types of scene's with my family. Too embarrassed.

What I meant by family drama is that usually families all sit down and watch these serials on tv...therefore its meant to appeal to all people watching. Theres no PG warning or censorship warning like some movies! So even though the storyline sounded like an intense love story etc...the pace had to be varied. Thats all, everyone has their reasons. To be honest its all fictional and anything can happen, some people will like it and some people won't. I'm not going to get all worked up about these little thing...just enjoying it. Unfortunately there's alot of sadness around the world in this moment of time...these drama issues are trivial in comparison.

Hey welcome to the forum doll!!

Now I understand what many are saying that RR was shown and advertised as an intense love story, and while I agree and appreciate that (hell, that's why I wanted to watch the show too) I think we all know or at least need to understand that the story line of RR has evolved. Why?

I'll tell you why:

TRPs.

Intense, passionate, almost theatrical action was not working for their TRPs, infact their TRPs have always been crappy and they're adjusting aspects of the story to attract a different audience. Why? Because their initial base audience isn't enough.

That's harsh. And it's hard to hear, but in all honesty their passionate, action filled romance is simply not something that's been able to garner them strong viewership.

That being said, Intense Romances in India are very difference from Intense romances outside of India (at least on screen).

I still laugh about the outrage people had over the BALH fiasco 😆
