Hi,
I am totally hooked to this serial though I have just watched episode 1, 2 and yesterdays 5th one...

Though I give my feedback in on of the threads here...I wished to make a separate post on what I noted in Anand's family...the scenes showed so far with his son whom he refers to as Champion and yesterday's scene(21 st July) especially where he is trying to give some relief to his wife...as the time/energy demands of hers as a care giver was extremely moving and well portrayed...

I feel many times watching the show that Anand might be negative, that he might have a hidden agenda but then they Show something that I have to put my suspicion aside. I love his character. While watching yesterday's episode I just remember that Anand had gifted a car to the channel person who broke it and returned it. Then Anand had asked to dump the car somewhere. It is possible that Chabra had gotten the hold of that car to get back at Yudhishtar. Even his journalist asks him how he knew that the car belonged to shanti construction. He was quiet. 😲

For a COO, his house seems to be very ordinary doesn't it

this is what I love about this show. No OTT sets of the mansions or OTT makeup of the cast to show their richness. I mean the rich people are also the humans. They can't eat gold for food. I know some people who are filthy rich but they never show off their money and are very down to earth. All these details make the show more real and authentic.

Precisely, my dear Monika. Very well put.

Why talk of only Anand, even Yudh's house is a modest 2 storey affair, and the rooms, from the bedroom to the drawing and dining rooms, are all perfectly ordinary, upper middle class in the fittings.

Like Mr. Narayanamurthy of Infosys, who lives in a 3 bedroom house in Bangalore, despite being worth a huge fortune. And Yudh's family has no white liveried servants or a butler to serve them at table, just the one maid whom Nayantara chivvies around and who cooks as well.

Even the office of Shanti Constructions is modest looking inside, and they have not showed us the outside at all. Yudh's own office looks quite small. Why, some CEOs,. say of Reliance Industries, would have a 3000 sq. ft office!

As for the car gifted to Mukesh Chhabra, your suggestion is interesting, but if that was so, Anand would have recognised it. Morever, they have identified the car from a specific site of theirs, which was where the night watchmen, after the habit of most night watchmen, was fast asleep on his watch😉, and the car was driven away without his knowing anything about it!

I would like you to read my episode analyses, 5 of them so far - my id is sashashyam - and comment there as well.
