My good old Tatasky has the following to say about Episodes 5 to 7 (Monday to Wednesday this week) of Yudh. I felt this might interest many of you. Unfortunately, for Episode 8, Tatasky lost it and gave the synopsis for last Thursday's Episode 4!đ Anyhow, something is better than nothing, so here are the 3 synopses, with my comments.
Shyamala B.Cowsik
Episode 5: Monday July 21.
Ranjan and Nayantara watch the news and are relieved to find out that Yudh's name has been cleared in the hospital case, and (it has been confirmed) that Anuj was the one responsible for bringing the building down.
Comments: So the forensic lab test on Nikhil's camera footage, about which Mona and I were holding our collective breathđ, turned out ok after all!
Episode 6: Tuesday, July 22
Anand goes to the police station to enquire about Yudh's medical file. Btu Inspector Choudhary tells him that the car that rammed into Dr.Mehra belongs to Shanti Constructions, a and suspects him.
Comments: This is like the Oracle of Delphi, famous for its mysterious and not easily comprehensible prophecies. I presume the "him" at the end refers to Anand. What purpose of his would be served by bumping off Yudh's substitute doctor is unclear, but the police, once they are on a trail, do not bother with logicđ.
Anand has been Suspect No. 1 from the beginning among a good part of this forum , on the general principle of the most unlikely one being most likely to be guilty. So the Anand conspiracy theories can start up again!
More to the point, being Yudh's doctor now seems to call for extra life insuranceđđ, and poor Dr. Mehra has been injured or killed just because he took over from the original neurologist while he was away. Presumably he had Yudh's medical file with him at the time of the accident; and maybe Anand now knows what is wrong with Yudh, whence his eagerness to keep the file from falling into the wrong hands.
Episode 7: Wednesday, July 23
Taruni tells Yudh to call a press conference and reveal that he has a neurological disorder. At the end of the press conference, Yudh names Taruni the new CEO of Shanti Constructions.
Comments: Taruni is an eminently sensible young woman, and her advice to Yudh - to reveal what cannot be concealed for much longer, and to do that at his initiative, with candour and courage, is exactly what he needs right now. This will not only make a very good impression on everyone, and thus protect the value of his company's shares because there will be no loss of confidence in him, but it will also shield him from vicious gossip about his condition. Taruni is very much Yudh's daughter, for like him, she too obviously believes in taking the bull by the horns.
Yudh's making her the CEO of Shanti Constructions will not go down well with her stepfather Jeet, not only on personal grounds - he is very fond of Taruni and would hate to see her monopolised by Yudh and Yudh's business - but also because she might then end up on the opposite side of the fence from him, as the enquiry against Gautam (and very likely Yudh as well) proceeds.
It remains to be seen whether, as predicted by kaushikbasu on my latest thread, the estrangement between Taruni and her father happens because Jeet is killed and Yudh is suspected of being behind it. As he is of pretty much anything that goes wrong anywhere at all!
