After all, he was discharging himself from the hospital and coming to the office, for the first time after getting this amnesia thing in him to visit them eagerly and no one from the team was there in sight to - ok, don't have to greet him or at least just to see him?

We did not encounter anyone until we reached the conference room.

We reached the conference room through the empty corridors and found it empty.

'They are setting something!' I believed.

I saw my laptop placed on the table.

We settled in the chairs.

I dialed Chottu's number to give them a live relay and wore the ear-piece to my left ear.

"Oh, where is everyone?"

Arjun asked.

"I saw you coming in!"

Chottu said to me over the phone.

"Mm!"-I sighed.

"They are working on a case, sir!"- I looked Arjun.

"Come on, then! We'll meet them there!"

"One moment sir!"

I touched some numbers and put the mobile in my right ear then talked to Chottu.

"Where are you now?"

"Upstairs! Ayesha hasn't yet returned from the police station. And Sakshi is in the records room!"

"Mm.. ok then! What about the case we discussed?"

"We are working!"

"Right!" I missed the grip of the pen in my hand and I moved the chair behind. I bent down under the table and whispered hastily.

"Come in if I say so!"

I came back to the sitting position and said, "Sir! They are on their way back here!"

"Right! What's the case, by the way?"

"The same one that we dealt yesterday! Someone in the gang escaped from us. They went behind him this morning, as we got information about his whereabouts!"

I recited as I was informed that morning while they called me in the hospital, before he awoke.

I knew they had nabbed him.

"What about him?"

"He was arrested, sir!"

"Right!"

He looked down at his mobile.

I opened my lap top and started singing softly,

"Mm...Ishq Shava!... Has she arrived?...

He is ready to kill me bhai...

Soon to save me before I die..."

"What's that?"

Arjun asked me.

"I was just singing, sir!"

I said proudly.

"What the devil?"

'Oh, mode-2!'

"I- I was actually praying, sir!" I gave him a demo then, "Lord Shiva!..."

'Oh, God!'

I stopped singing at once and started praying sincerely.

"Oh Lord, in peaceful heaven! Dear Buddha! Save us, Amen!"

I crossed myself.

The next moment I had to wrest the ear-piece from my ear just to save my hearing power from the thunderous laughing of Chottu upstairs!

I guessed that he was sitting before a table and knocking it down as he laughed.

"Oh, what's it?"

Arjun asked me as we felt the vibration downstairs.

I was about to say, it was an earthquake, but decided against it, for it might cause more problems.

Instead, I said, "They are doing some plumbing work, upstairs!" I lifted my hand to show him which was up and added on second thought, "From yesterday!"

"Tell them to do it quietly!"

"Ok, sir!" I was on my feet before I replied him.

As I was going out, Sakshi entered in, to take my position, I guessed.

"Hi, Shree!"

I smiled at her thankfully and left the room.

And I had to improve my 'IQ' to think better, and I got that a moment later, which had induced her to come over there (it was Chottu's laughing, obviously).

Note: as I'm not feeling well dears, let me give some time to reply ur updates.
