Flop films with hit music

Asoka is one. The album has some beautiful songs like Roshini Se Bhare Bhare and O Re Kanchi.

The film was a box office dud though.

Lamhe has some amazing songs like Kabhi Main Kahoon and Chudiyan Khanak Gayeen, but the content of the film was considered too bold and it was a flop when released, even though now it is a cult classic.

Kagaz Ke Phool was a disaster at the box office (even though now it is considered one of the best Indian films ever made), but the album has the evergreen Waqt Ne Kiya Kya Haseen Sitam.

Among the lesser known films, Kisna was a flop but the title song Woh Kisna Hai was a big hit when it was first released.

Tum bin all songs were chartbaster but the film despite of being great coudlnt work at the box office

Inteha 2003 ,,,All songs were so melodious esp Dhalni lagi hai raat koi baat keejye and humsafar cahiya

Muskaan 2004 (Aftab and gracy ) all songs were great

Dil Mange More ( Aisa dewana huwa hai yeh dil apke pyar hain, Ghustakh dil tere leya betab hai and title song)

Janasheen 2003 ...Dil dewana beqarar hone laga hai
