Chapter 25 - Confessions Continue

Arnav and Khushi parted from the passionate kiss, to let some air pass through. That day, it seemed as if they were in heaven. Everything felt so wonderful. So lively. The feeling of being in love engulfing them to depths. Who knew that they would fall in love with each other, that too so deeply!

Khushi smiled at him, lowering her eyes..blushing. Arnav looked at her with eyes filled with love. She looked up at him, and then again lowered her gaze. She wanted to speak but words seemed to die in her throat. Yet she swallowed the multiple lumps that were formed and spoke,

"You remember Arnav. When we first met.. You were so rude.. And in the college too. We had fought and the next day we became friends." He chuckled as the incidents flashed in his mind.

"And then everything was perfect till Alia entered in your life" she said, looking into his eyes. His body stiffened hearing the name of Alia.

He gathered courage and asked Khushi, "But Khushi. She didn't do anything in the beginning. Then what happened?"

Khushi lowered her eyes, "I was jealous Arnav" she confessed, in a soft voice.

Arnav's lips curved into his cutest smile, "Really?" and he received a slight nod from her. He wound his hand around her waist, pulling her close again, "Then why didn't you tell me at that time?"

"Haw. How could I? At that time I wanted to remain away for you. I thought you would feel that I'm interfering between you and Alia" she said with a pout.

"Forget all this Khushi. I don't want to get reminded of that girl at this beautiful moment" he said, brushing off the topic.

"Ok fine" she approved, "But Arnav. I want to say you something."

"Haan" he looked at her curiously, biting his lower lip.

"I have never met someone like you ever. We've been great friends. We've together spent the craziest moments. We've laughed. We've cried. And look today. We're in love with each other" she confessed, in a really soft and romantic voice, each word denoting a meaning, each word said by her heart.

"Khushi?" he looked at her with an awed expression.

"I'll repeat what you said Arnav. Because it was the same with me. I never knew when it happened, I never knew how fast it happened, but it just happened. Whatever I said before. However I reacted before. I'm sorry. I'm really very sorry. But the truth is.." and she lifted herself on her toes, wounding her one arm around his neck and holding his cheek with her other hand, she eliminated the distance between their lips, kissing him much more lovingly than he did.

"I love you too Arnav" she said as they parted from the kiss. Arnav's lips formed his most beautiful smile and his eyes twinkled much more than the star. The reciprocation of love is indeed the most wonderful thing!

Khushi lifted herself yet again and planted a wet kiss near his ear, whispering 'I love you' again.

Arnav scooped her in his arms and carried her to the dinner-table that was set up. He gently placed her on one of the chairs, and sat opposite to her.

"Thank you Khushi" he said, rather whispered, emotions filling him tremendously.

"For what?" she asked, confused.

"For making my day so special. I really feel today is my birthday" he said, and she chuckled as she remembered her comment for him the very morning.

"I'm sorry Arnav" she said, lowering her eyes.

"No Khushi. You never knew what I felt. I never told you. Anyone would have behaved the same"

"But I was so rude"

"Koi baat nahi. All's well that end's well" he said and smiled; the smile fading off the next second, "I'm sorry Khushi. I just shouted at you. And I shouldn't have talked to you about that money and all"

"Offo Arnav. Now please you don't start" she said, "I'm very hungry. Let's eat something"

"Yeah. But on one condition" he said, and smirked.

"Kya?"

"I'll kiss you before every bite you eat!"

"Haa? Nahi" she widened her eyes, and then lowered them, blushing hard.

Arnav quickly pecked Khushi on her lips and then fed her the food, making her blush like anything. After swallowing the food in her mouth, Khushi too first pecked his lips before feeding him. And this went up till the whole of the food was finished! Who knew these two best of friends can become so romantic!

Arnav carried Khushi in his arms to their home, flirting with her in every possible way. We can't ignore the fact that they still were best friends, who had fallen in love. He carried her straight to his own room, making her gasp.

"Arnav. Why did you bring me here?" she asked, as she found Arnav taking her to his room, instead of dropping her in her own room.

"Sshh" he shushed her, and gently made her lay on the bed.

"Arnav? What are you doing?" she said, blushing and at the same time feeling really uncomfortable.

He kissed her deeply on her lips, making her silent.

"Arnav. Please. I'm not comfortable" she said in an almost pleading voice.

"Relax Candy. I'm not doing anything" he said, and smiled, and then moved into the washroom to change, "You too get changed Khushi"

Khushi lowered her head, feeling embarrassed. Arnav was not even doing anything, and she was thinking so wrong about him. She slowly got up and went to her room.

Khushi got up in the morning, only to find herself cuddled into two strong arms, his breath fanning her ear. Her lips automatically curved into a smile, but as she checked the surroundings, she realized it to be Arnav's room.

'How did I come here? I think I slept in my room only' she asked herself, and then shifted slightly to get up.

"Arnav?" she combed his hair with her fingers, asking him to wake up.

"Hmm?" he mumbled in his sleep.

"Utho. And tell me how did I come here" she said in his ear, making him open his eyes. He un-laid his arms from Khushi, and sat up on the bed, pulling her over his lap.

"Good Morning" he said as he pecked her lips.

Khushi gently rubbed his slightly grown stubble, "You brought me here?"

"Haan" he said shrugging his shoulders.

"What happened last night?" she asked sternly, getting alarmed of his intentions.

"Relax Candy. Why does your mind start thinking so wild about me?" he winked at her, receiving a punch on his chest.

"You were sleeping in your room. But I wanted us to sleep on the same bed, of course without doing anything" he again winked, laying stress on his last words.

"Arnav you're so shameless" Khushi said, pushing him aside.

"People in love tend to become shameless baby!" he flirted, making her blush yet again.

"Now get aside, let me get ready. We're already late for the college" she got up from his lap and walked to her own room, leaving a 'tarastaa hua' Arnav behind.

In the college.

"Really?" Payal squealed as Khushi narrated the whole incident to her in the recess, blushing every now and then.

"Aww. It's so cute" Payal again awed, feeling very good for her two friends, "But why didn't you tell me earlier about your love?"

"I didn't myself realize it. It's all because of Arnav" Khushi replied, smiling.

"Chal I'll just come. Lemme drink some water" Khushi excused herself, and went to buy a water-bottle. As soon as she entered the corridor which led to the canteen, the sight broke her apart.

Arnav and Alia were standing at a corner, with Alia holding Arnav's hand and saying something to him. Khushi went near them to make sure it was Arnav, and was proven right.

"Arnav?" she called out for him in a soft broken voice. As soon as Arnav heard her voice and glanced over her, Khushi turned around and ran away from there, feeling miserable.

"Khushi. Khushi listen. Khushi" he tried to go after her, but she was too fast.

He came back to Alia, and angrily held her arms, "If my Khushi cries a tear because of you. Believe me. I'll make sure it would be the worst part of your life" he angrily barked at her and left from there, going behind the direction where his Khushi went.

i want his ex to come back and apologize...and ask him to get back together...and khushi to witness all this n get heart brokenn start avoiding arnav, thinking that he is now with his ex... and then arnav shud confront her, saying that that ex wanted him back, but he doesnt want to go to her, but be with khushi always... that wud be a prefect ending... will make him seem more committed n his feelings towards khushi more mature n stable...
