3.Bouncy Beginning.
"I don't think this is that great an idea Randhir!" Sanyukta had been thinking over the presentation alloted to them by Vardhan sir for quite sometime now, and she had concluded that the direction in which they were working would lead to nothing but Vardhan Sir's wrath!
"My ideas are always great. If u cant appreciate them, back off!" Randhir was not at all used to listening to a "no." Sanyukta's
non-coperation, was just igniting fire!
"Mr.Shekawat, i have been working with Vardhan Sir for almost 2 years now, i know exactly what kind of presentations he appreciates and requires!" Sanyukta was irritated! What the hell did this Mr.Shekawat think of himself?!
"Sanyukta just shut up!" He stood up from his chair, and pointed his finger towards her, furious at the way she was behaving with him.
"U shut up and listen to me. Hum 2 din se issi baat par argue kar rahe hai Randhir!!" She shot back, and walked towards his chair.
"Sanyukta Agarwal, dont mess with me!" He warned her, grabbing her shouders violently,his eyes burning in anger, assuming Sanyukta would not fight back his dominance. Little did he know that Sanyukta was no loser! She immediately pushed him away using all her might, her teetjh clenched in anger.
Surprised at her action, Randhir stared at her in wonder.
"Just because tum ladke ho, that doesnt mean you get to dominate me using your physical strength." Sanyukta's warning was accompanied by a straight face, making Randhir smile...He had nothing against the opposite sex, yes, he always thought they were easy to dominate using physical strength, but Sanyukta's warning had actually amazed him. He loved the grit with which she had spoken, and found himself lost in her audacious charm. While she arrogantly stared back at him, her eyes daring him to take his next course of action...
"Yeh kya ho raha hai yaha?" Mr.Agarwal, who was seated in exactly the adjacent cabin, was highly disturbed by the noises coming from Sanyukta's cabin, and decided to look into the matter. Upon entering the cabin, he saw an angry Sanyukta glaring at Randhir, while Randhir stared back at her.
"Kuch nahi papa woh...I mean Sir woh.." Sanyukta nervously looked at her dad, certain he would favour Randhir if he was consulted with the matter.
"Nothing much sir...hum sirf presentation k baarein main discuss kar rahe the.." Randhir politely replied, not wanting to disclose the presence of any argument. If there was one thing he was cognizant about from the past 2 days,, it was the unsettled relation the father-daughter duo shared. Mr.Agarwal, along with Sanyukta's brother Ankit, was always on his toes to humiliate Sanyukta. And when he thought Sanyukta would retaliate, he was stunned to witness her standing quietly and not uttering a word in front of her dad.
It was not that she couldn't back answer, just that she didn't. And he was nothing but surprised looking at it, to say the least.
"Ok Randhir beta...mujhe laga Sanyukta tum par chilla rahi thi..anyways, Sanyukta se zyaada main tum par bharosa karta ho...So do as u wish.." Mr.Agarwal declared proudly, and left the cabin, while Sanyukta stared at the door, that he had just shut, with disappointment and hope...No matter what she did, her dad would never ever consider her to be an asset for the company. Infact, he would never ever consider her to be an asset even in his life. She shut her eyes, avoiding the display of any emotions, unwilling to let her dejection take over her.
"Lets continue.." Randhir said softly, sensing Sanyukta's disappointment. He had observed her change of expressions after the departure of her
dad and they were not pleasant. It was soo evident that Mr.Agarwal did not care a damn about his daughter! Her desolation was apparent,
and he felt his heart sink on seeing her like that...She deserved appreciation for the hard work she undertook, but was showered with none.
Suddenly he felt really sorry for her. It was the first time he had felt bad for a third person.It was so unlike him!
But the next moment, his arrogance ruled over his heart, makin him restart the argument all over again...
"V will be continuing with my idea!" He announced, clearing the misconception, if any Sanyukta had in mind. Sure , that, she would not dare oppose his ideas anymore, though he was taken by surprise, when Sanyukta twirled to face him, and clutched his collar tight,
"Listen Mr.Shekawat, m the boss, and so u will do as i say!" She sternly said, her face inches away from his, her grip on his collar
tightening...Randhir was taken aback to see the determination she possessed burning in her eyes. Going further down, he observed
her sharp nose, which perfectly complimented her beautiful eyes. He knew he should halt there, as his eyes travelling further down would
be really risky, and yet he couldn't resist the temptation. Giving in, he finally placed his eyes on her luscious lips, which were clearly functioning
as an invitation to an offer, which he knew he should decline. But still, he accepted the offer, and inched his lips closer to hers, his hands wrapping themselves around her waist...
Sanyukta felt her heart thump a thousand times faster on feeling his breath caressing her lips...She closed her eyes, enjoying this thrilling ride...
*knock knock*
Sanyukta and Randhir jumped apart on hearing someone standing right at the door.
"Ma'm woh Mr.Suryavanshi is waiting for u." Parth informed Sanyukta.
"Haa, woh...hum aa rahe hai.." Sanyukta replied, faking a smile, praying Parth had not witnessed the happenings that occurred seconds ago.
"Yeah..ul can come wen ul r done..." Parth passed a smile, leaving Sanyukta embarrased! What the hell was she doing?
She was almost on the verge of kissing Randhir! This was soo unlike herself. She had never felt soo out of control ever before!
She was not a child who could not resist to temptations! Then why on earth was she not resisting to the temptation of feeling Randhir?!
Why the hell was she succumbing to her temptation?
Embarassed, she immediately settled on her chair, commencing the unfinished work, while Randhir too ignored the events that transpired
between them seconds ago, and drowned in the incomplete presentation.
Though both of them found their hearts smiling remembering the proximity they shared...
