Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince was awarded the Best Seller Award for the top-selling book in America at tonight's ceremony in New York. Reuters reports that the book "sold more than twice as many copies in the United States in its first two weeks as any other author's book in a whole year."
The runner-up was Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code, which sold 2.3 million copies over the past year.
