Today in morning I was reading newspaper and while checking Gujarati Entertainment Supplement I was amazed to see Preetika's IV article. ...!!!

Q) You were associated with writing coulmns in newspapers and magazines then how did u land up in acting buisness?
Ans:-I started writing and acting both together. But its different thing now as I dont get enough time as we shoot for almost 16 hours.But still when I get time I do write Blogs . People from all over the wirld appreciate my writing. Basically for writing there is no age limit as you can write at any stage of life but for acting there is a certain age limit hence rite now I m focusing on my acting career.
Q) Your elder sister Amrita Rao is quite known in Bollywood and is active there so why u started with TV ???
Ans:- If I wanted I would have done a film.After doing films in South I got selected by 6 Production Houses together. In those days I got inspired seeing a muslim female character so I loved Aaliya's role and joined Beintehaa
Q) Do you face any problem while portraying a Muslim Character? ?
Ans:- No I didn't face any problem rather I m loving it . Through this character I got a chance to learn so many things.But yeah u have to get correct behaviour and work on pronunciations of certain Urdu words.In Beintehaa majority actors are Hindu .Naved Aslam is only Muslim who plays Usman Abdullah's Character. Whenever we face difficulty in any urdu word or anything related we rush and ask Naved Sir's Help . Because of him I learnt lot of things.
Q ) Share some childhood memories with Amrita !!!
Ans:-From Childhood Amrita Didi was fond of Acting .In school she used to take part in Modelling Theatre and Acting.She is always busy.I have grown up seeing her acting.I used to wait for her to come back from shooting. Sometimes I used to accompany her on sets. We both love going Banstand (Bandra, Mumbai).We used to have fun together gossiping. I still remember that Amrita Didi used to wear Western Cap to hide herself in public.
Q) You are visiting different cities for promotion for Beintehaa promotion.Is it for TRPs or something else???
Ans:- Sometimes even though your show is popular you have to promote it.TRP and promotions both go hand in hand.Our show is very popular in Lucknow and Kanpur so we went there. Our shows theme is connected here so we went there for promotion. And yes I do not beleive in TRP stuff.
Q) Which type of response/feedback do you get for this show??
Ans:-Now even small kids are liking Aaliya's character and when they address me calling Aaliya or shows popular dailogue **Maamu Ki Bhaanji** I feel great and love this sweet response
Q) How much do you relate with Aaliya?
Ans:-- Qualities of Aaliya likecCalm and Compose, Great Level vof Understanding and following Principles is there in me too.I have all these qualities. The way Aaliya moves on with "Allah" on her side even I move ahead in my life with God by my side.
