The swaying trees and the fading blues,

Of clouds mixing with black and grey hues.

The sign of an upcoming shower,

Tiny drops of water looking like little stars.

Standing on the road concrete,

The water comes in contact with my feet.

My welled up eyes shed a lone tear,

Just at the sight of rain mere.

It brought back days spent,

The memories infinite and the passed moments.

The memories I had shared with you,

Under the sun and in the blue.

My eyes trace the lonely way,

Searching for you all along.

My heart craves for one touch,

Because that is where I belong.

The cool breeze plays with my hair,

The earthly scent in the air,

Silently whispering in my ears,

"I LOVE YOU."
