Any award for best actor/actress (national award/filmfare) you think was unfair?

For me most of these have been unfair but the biggest shock has to be saif winning NA for hum tum

W*F was that? Things which make you lose faith in the country's most prestigious award even

I think Rani winning for Hum Tum would've been perfect, she was brilliant in the movie. I didn't see any unfair award winners to be honest. Especially when I see Konkona winning National award for the best actress, great choice

Most of Kajol's filmfare wins were RUBBISH!

I kept wondering how on Earth she won for her mediocre performance in movies like -MY NAME IS KHAN? KKHH, KKKG ?? 🤢

And Saif's national award win a joke! How on earth he can win a God damn ''NATIONAL AWARD'' for his whatever performance in HUM TUM? 😲

Awards sucks, as always ..Total bias!

1993/1994

Juhi Chawla won for Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke. It should have gone to Meenakshi Seshadri for Damini. I even thought Madhuri Dixit was far more spectacular in Khalnayak. And of course Sridevi in Gumrah and even Dimple Kapadia in Rudaali were amazing. I thought Juhi was good but the weakest of the 5 nominees.

1996/7

Karisma Kapoor won for Raja Hindustani. I thought Manisha Koirala deserved it for Khamoshi.

2001/2002

Kajol won for K3G. Karisma was far superior in Zubeidaa. Even Tabu was outstanding in Chandni Bar. I love Kajol, and she is great in every film, but she was not the best in the category.

2004/2005

I was shocked when Rani Mukerji won for Hum Tum. I thought it would go to Preity Zinta for Veer-Zaara. But I think Urmila Matondkar really deserved it for Ek Hasina Thi.

Havent seen rudali but dimple won national award for it..weird how she won a national award (the most prestigious) yet not a filmfare..filmfare is way too biased

Filmfare Best Actor/Actress is based on critical appreciation+popularity of actor/role

That's reason why Kajol won for K3G and not Karishma because even though latter's performance was strong but film wasn't popular and was average/flop

Best Actor/Actress is Best POPULAR Actor/Actress. There is category CRITICS Best Actor/Actress for critically acclaimed performances/films.

Undeserving : SRK in the number of rom coms he did and won the award... SRK was at his best in Swades & CDI and he was justly awarded for both... Hrithik was robbed of his fifth win in Guzarish...

Rishi Kapoor in Bobby, Sanjeev Kumar was robbed for Koshish...

Rajesh Khanna in Saccha Jhutaa.. Again Sanjeev ji deserved it more for Khilona...

Farhan Akthar in BMB was mediocre compared to Dhanush's brillaint potrayal in Raanjhanaa..

Kajol, again in the movies she paired w SRK, wasnt deserving.. And the one for Faana was the worse!! Kareena was robbed of her first award in Omkara.. Anushka was robbed of her first in 2011 for BBB... Manisha's act in Dil Se was far superior compared to Kajol's annoying Anjali..Karishma and Tabu both deserved it more than Kajol in 2002... Only deserving win is for DDLJ, well that is also because none of the other nominees were equally good...

Madhuri for DTPH... Tabu deserved it more for Virsat..

Aishwarya Rai for HDDCS & Devdas, again Tabu deserved it for Hu Tu Tu and Rani for Saathiya..

Rani for Hum Tum, Ill pick Urmila performance in EHT anyday over Rani's in HT..

Vidya for TDP.. Over hyped and nothing phenomenal in her act.. Priyanka was awesome in SKM and deserved it..

Deepika in RL, Sonakshi's Pakhi was clearly the better performance of the year..

National Awards, even I was shocked Saif got for HT.. And was even more shocked when Vidya got for TDP and not Paa/Kahaani/Ishqiya...

** I realise people say Filmfare best actor/actress awards are awarded for HIT films only, but it wasnt the case about 20 years back... It has been commercialized for sake of TRPs and thus over the years it has the practice in place to award HIT film actors/actresses.. But that wont change the fact that the above people were most undeserving..

Only in 2013, I wished both Vidya and Priyanka got the award for Best Actress in Kaahani and Barfi respectively...

UFF thats ALOT i said there😵😆
