As-salamu alaykum, namaste and a very big hello to all of you 😃
Before I start with the (usual review), an update about myself. Life has become very busy for me so that means no daily reviews anymore, like most of you must have noticed. Yes, I feel a bit sad about it but what to do... So you all must be thinking, then why this post now? Well, some IF members wanted to see me back and suggested to do a weekly review, if not a daily one. Iss liye, only for that reason I decided to give it a try. Hopefully the result meets your expectations and if not...well no worries.
Some changes here on the personal front and some changes there in our favorite daily show Tumhari Paakhi. So what is happening in the world of Indian television?
Let's go back in time...
If I remember correctly, one of my last reviews was about the reunion episode of Anshuman with his mother Anuja. Chalo, will start from there.
Tune Maari Entriyaan
Devki Rathore ne maari entry Rathore Mansion mein. A mother has been reunited with her children. We had seen Anshuman's reaction about finding his mother but it was also very nice to see how Lavanya bonded with her mom, especially now since she is expecting a baby herself. The bonding with Girish and his sasu-maa was as expected good but even the most sweetest relationships can have some friction. And that is exactly what happened between Lavanya and Girish when Devki came into the picture. Not sure if his insecurities, jealousy or whatever it was, were necessary or not but I am glad that was sorted out quickly.
Even though everyone was happy, there was still one thing or rather someone missing which was none other than Paakhi. Yahan India mein Devki is enjoying with her daughter, son-in-law and grandchild, aur wahan Anshuman Singapore mein hain to find Paakhi and bring her back home.
Anshuman does find Paakhi lekin saath hi saath mein he also comes face to face with Rohan. Yes the same Rohan who used to be Paakhi's lover lekin mind you; it was just ek tarafa pyaar.
Paakhi saw a changed Anshuman and for that reason she promised to come back if she would lose the the competition. Anshuman saw his Paakhi and that was enough for him to decide that he will make her win this competition and wait for her for the coming 18 years.
What we also saw was a jealous, mean, selfish Rohan whose behavior was anything but like a friend. Even though, AnKhi was not reunited, we all loved to see them together after a long time. True love always finds its way...Eventually, the time was there... AnKhi hug and everything is back to normal.
Paakhi ne maari entry Rathore Mansion mein aur Anshuman ke dil mei baji ghantiyaan.
Now the happy family is back together. Devki, Anshuman, Paakhi, Lavanya, Girish and Ayaan.
Lekin kahaani mein aaya twist... Rathore family mein aaya ek naya family member...
Aryaman. Ab yeh kaun hai yeh humein abhi tak pata nahin chala.
Aryaman, an interesting character. What makes him more interesting is that he is Anshuman's humshakal but personality wise in dono mein zameen aur asmaan ka farq hai.
Aryaman, their younger brother, grew up in a village and is probably after money because his target is Ayaan. He is not related to the Rathore family at all, but his looks only resembles that of Anshuman. That is where it stops...for now.
But the more you think about his character, the more you pay attention, the more you will find something is fishy. And by that, I do not only mean fishy in Aryaman's character but also in Devki's character. Yes, this track might also include the mother.
Do not ask me how and why but the way Aryaman made his entry and the way Devki is over protective and worried for him, actually worries me about her behavior and attitude towards Aryaman. I know that most of you have already thought about certain possible scenarios for this track, even I have thought about it, lekin for now I do not want to say much and see where this track actually brings us...
Will this lead us to Anshuman's death? According to the latest promos, one of the brothers will die but which one? Killing Anshuman would really be a big thumbs down because that will just kill the entire story of AnKhi.
After the summary of the story so far, I have to make a confession.
After the AnKhi reunion, I wanted to see some pure, raw, intense, sweet and romantic nok jhok between AnKhi before they would start with the Aryaman track. And to be honest, I was quite 'disappointed' when Aryaman made his entry right after Paakhi entered the house.
Lekin, yeh ek aisa show hai where the CVs love to surprise the viewers with some zor ka jhatkas. Haan, I also got a zor ka jhatka but a very lovely one.
Amidst all the double role wala track and the curious case of Aryaman, we also get to see some lovely scenes between our very own AnKhi. Romance, nok jhok and even a naughty Anshuman is what we see. Finally, both behave like a true husband and wife. The chori chori chupke chupke scene in the study room has to be one of my favorites. Their chemistry is just wow. Watching those kind of scenes just makes my day, no matter how 'bad' the episode was. Credit obviously goes to the entire team of TP and also to Iqbal and Shraddha. They portray the romantic scenes with so much ease which makes it an absolute delight to watch.
So yes, maybe I was a bit too fast with expressing my 'disappointment' lekin kya karoon, it had been ages when we saw AnKhi romance for the last time so my wish not unjustified!
Like I said, I do not know what TP will bring us in the future lekin as long as their is enough AnKhi romance I am all game. Of course, this does not mean that I do not want a good logic story lekin to be honest, after a long day at work one wants some nice entertainment without having to use your brains too much. Iss liye, romance is the perfect formula for that 😳
