While Sanyukta was still trying to run away from these black clothed and masked creatures. As soon as she was about to turn through the staircase hiding, someone caught hold of her wrist.

This time, it wasn't Randhir.

That person covered her mouth with his hands with a black cloth and dragged her secretly into the jeep. He signalled the other men out there and they swished away to some other corner of the city in no time.

No one knew what had been happening all the while.

SANYUKTA HAD BEEN ABDUCTED..!!

They took her to an abandoned warehouse. All the exits were blocked. She had been caged in a semi-dark room. An old broken bulb emitting its dim yellow rays across the entire room was the sole source of illumination.

She was liberated from those jute ropes and set free. But it was made sure she wasn't left with an option to escape.

A tall hooded man unveiled his jet black mask and marched towards her.

"Miss Sanyukta Aggarwal..!!", he spoke in his manly voice.

Sanyukta huffed and rolled her eyes.

"You're stubborn, girl. You know this is not really going to take us anywhere. Get our work done and we'll leave you.", said the man smoking a cigar pouring thick smoky clouds in the air through his mouth.

Sanyukta gazed at him, "And you know my answer, right? I need not repeat myself."

On the other hand, at FITE, police officers had to rush immediately after all the topmost engineering university was under the domination of goons a few minutes back, who seemed no less than terrorists as well. So many incidents broke off in that university like a bombshell in a single night.

Randhir was climbing up the pipe to Sanyukta's room. He just wanted to make sure if she had reached her dormitory safely or not. He had seen her leaving towards her dorm and he had checked for her in the entire college. The only possible place he could have found her at this moment was her dorm.

He safely landed into her room through her open window. Without waking Kaustuki, he started searching for Sanyukta. To his dismay, she was nowhere to be seen; her bed, her washroom, her cupboard, college and hostel corridors, nowhere, not a single place.

Now he was getting anxious on the fact that "SHE" was missing.

Now his mind was set to go on a voyage of supposedly hapless assumptions about his Farzi,

his chirping bird.

"Where could she be?

Is she alright?

What if she's with those goons?

What if they harm her?

No, no... This all is just rubbish. I'm sure she's alright.

But wait, why can't this be possible?

I mean, it practically makes sense.

The goons left and she vanished from the sight since then...

which actually means...

They kidnapped her..???"

Randhir punched the adjacent wall hard with his fist and broke the concrete in anger.

"I have to save her... at any cost", he sighed.

He left from there immediately.

As he stepped near the auditorium, some whisperings were quite audible to him. He sneaked near the office. There, they discovered CCTV footage wherein Sanyukta was kidnapped by those goons.

During Jiggy's murder, the murderers had deactivated the cameras and as a precautionary measure, the authorities got more CCTVs active for times of emergency. Fortunately, it helped them tracing Sanyukta's abduction.

Randhir ran away from there, concealing himself, in search of his Farzi. He tried searching her through her mobile GPS. He traced her last availability location and headed in that direction.

Meanwhile, in that warehouse, that strange man smirked at Sanyukta, "So you're not going to tell us where it is?"

Sanyukta replied, "You know my answer. I'm never going to let you have even a glimpse of what you want."

Earning such a sharp reply from her side, his anger reached its peak. "Don't you know us? Or you abhor your life to such an extent? I need it at any freaking cost", he yelled.

Sanyukta raised her voice level and huffed, "I don't care. You heard that? I won't let you get hold of it till my last breath. You wanna kill me? Shoot... I don't give a damn..", she retorted pointing her index finger at him.

That person caught hold of her finger and bent it backwards making her wince in pain and smacked a punch on her face. He was fuming in anger.

"Don't dare point your finger at me baby doll. After all, I'm your brother.", he chuckled.

He continued, "And darling, it doesn't suit a well-civilized girl to behave in such a manner. I wish I could have killed you. But I can't unless I get what I want and once I get it, I need not kill you. But I promise you Sanyukta Aggarwal, I'll make your life, a living hell. And mind you, your beloved ones will also not be spared in this perilous and dangerous game of entwined lives. I know I can't kill you but you know that there other people who are ready to slaughter you once they get a hint of where you are. You saw a live instance today itself. They killed that boy in search of you. You cannot be devoid of their sight for long. They'll get hold of you soon. And then, even I won't be able to save you baby doll. It'll be better you give it to me and lead a peaceful and harmonious life."

Sanyukta, "I know they're hunting for me. But I know how to tackle those tormentors. I don't really care about my life anymore. About that boy Jignesh, I know there's something behind his assassination and I'll find the reason behind this incident really soon. In fact, Mr. X will be there to support me.", she glared at him.

He gave a short laugh. "Ya ya, your so called Professor X, that dumb creature. That man never understood me. Had he understood my prospective in all those years, it'd have been a different scenario altogether then. But remember, your Professor X and that nugatory worthless boy can't shield you for long."

"Got to hell you good for nothing homosapien. You can't do anything. And you won't get anything from me ever.", she smirked.

In return, she received a punch on her face and she fell behind knocking against a wooden pile. Blood started oozing out of her forehead.

And there, Randhir broke into the warehouse like a whirlwind. He caught hold of the kidnapper's collar and started beating him. The cops reached the place in the nick of time and arrested them.

Randhir then looked at Sanyukta. Her forehead bleeding, eyes blue and cheeks red with the smacks.

He ran towards her and made her stand by her arms.

He then cupped her face and kept looking at her intently as if he just got his most precious possession back. He then hugged her with all his might as tightly as he could, emitting out all his emotions and fears. After a few minutes, he broke the hug.

He cupped her tiny face again and kissed her head, her twinkling eyes, her bruised cheeks. Sanyukta's heart beats paced so high that she couldn't understand what those unknown emotions and feelings were doing to her. She was losing herself to that dazzling yet intriguing man yet again. She could feel a zillion butterflies flying in her stomach yet again with his mere touch.

He lifted her chin, starring deep into her eyes, his eyes expressing his fears, his concern, his affection for her.

She felt herself in the seventh heaven. She never felt so cared for by anyone in her life.

Randhir held her tightly through her waist and leaned in, his breath feeling hers warm ones, their lips ready to collide and melt into one.

But then entered the cops like an unwarranted intrusion and spoiled the heavenly moment.

Randhir left Sanyukta, held her hands and departed from there seeking permission from the officers to get her proper medical treatment.

At the hospital, the nurse wiped the blood, cleaned and dressed Sanyukta's wounds. She bandaged her forehead. Meanwhile, Sanyukta could feel Randhir's constant gaze on her.

His eyes asking innumerable questions which Sanyukta could not and would not answer.

As soon as the nurse left, Randhir came and sat beside her. He held her hands in his caressing them. He looked at her and spoke, his tone extremely serious, "Sanyukta, who were they?"

"Wh.. Who.. Who were they?? H.. How do I kno.. know Randhir?", she stammered looking here and there unable to meet his intent gaze.

"Sanyukta, stop lying. Tell me the truth. Who were those people? And why are they behind you?"

"Randhir, I told you na.. I don't know who they were or what did they want from me.", she held her head which had been paining for quite some time now. She winced in pain, "aahhh..."

Randhir held her hands and placed them on her lap. He gently cupped her face and started blowing air on her bruises trying to comfort her.

Sanyukta forgot all her pain at once under the effect of his care and affection.

Randhir gently made her lay down on bed and caressed her head.

Soon, Sanyukta dozed off to sleep under the effect of medicines and Randhir's care.

Randhir was busy admiring the sleeping beauty.

"I don't know what's bothering you so much Sanyukta.

I don't know why you don't want to tell me the truth.

I don't know why you're not saying anything even after suffering so much.

I wish I knew it.. I knew it all..

I'd have safeguarded you from those dingy people then.

You know you look adorable while sleeping.

Your mouth forms a little o' shape which makes you look all the more cuter.

You look like a little innocent thing.", he smiled at his thoughts patting himself mentally at his foolishness.

After a few hours, the sun rose up, the flowers bloomed welcoming a new lovely shining morning, a new day which had in its store a lot of surprises and adventures.

Randhir removed the curtains from the windows, letting the illuminating rays of the fresh morning hit his chirping bird, his Farzi.

Sanyukta narrowed her eyes in sleep as if getting disturbed by the morning rays. He started turning side by side.

"She is simply adorable, a pretty little thing.", he thought again.

A tiny but genuine smile crept on his on seeing her antics.

Finally he woke her up as the cops wanted to take her statement.

She didn't tell them anything. She said that she didn't know those people at all, nor does she know why they abducted her.

Soon, cops stopped pestering her further and took her statement for further investigation.

Randhir stood there still.
