hmmmmm very interesting question......
well starting with dev, yes he has always been a very serious person. arrogant i wont say beacuse he changed ever since kaajjal came into his life. and we also saw that he smiled a lot in the days when he and kaajjal were falling in love and he wantde to tell kaajjal about it. but then dhruv came and he went back to the same serious mode, and then the mahadsha thing made him even more serious - and rightly so - when u think u r going to die in a few days. and then by the time the whole thing ended he was raju.
now coming to Raju - raju was a very funloving, smily smily person, who doesnt care a ---- about anyone. dev was able to portray a very good picture of raju, and he managed to make us like him as raju, which i think is definitely a success for him and as an actor. i personally like the raju personality a lot, only when i knew he was Dev. its a little complicated, but i dont know how to express. i felt from the start he was Dev, and with him as dev in mind, i loved the smilling, happy go lucky dev, who lives life to the fullest. but then it all ended as well and he was back to dev again. and even then, the rainy day - ah who can forget that beautiful rainy day - he was a perfect combination of happiness and love. i loved him there as well.
and then his mom dies and there we go - back to the DPS - angry young arrogant dev who is totally ruthless.
you know what, i persoanlly like dev's style and a little nakhra ... to me a man is graceful if he keeps his style and nakhra, but at the same time is funny and good to be with. that true personality to me. everything in balance.
after my through analysis, i would say dev has a pretty balanced personality, as all the times when he was not upset, he behaved pretty normally. but only in times of distress he losses it, and i will give it tohim, because i can imagine what one would feel if his dad dies in early age, and then his wofe dies when he is not even in the counrty and they dont even show him the deadbody .... well that can completely destroy anyone. come to think of it, how would it feel, when one day a person leaves for a meeting with a life full of love and happiness, and comes back to an empty house with no love nor life, and your beloved person dead. and u cant even see him/her the last time. i am sure he had all the reason to be what he was. and than again, when he found out that ameesha told mom about the time not right for marriage between him and payal and that payal could die because of that, but still no one told him .. as a result payal actually died ... come to think of it, kaisa lagay ka insaan ko tab ... jab yeh ehsaas ho kay aap kay pyar nay aap kay pyar ki jaan ay li ... ahhhhhh, its worse than dying man ...... and i think apoorva has depicted that feeling soooo beautifully .... i think whatever he was was pretty justified, but we also know that he is a happy go lucky man, only the situations and circumstancs have made him into this.
and now comming to kaajjal, when she gets back her memory. well, if he knows kaj is someone else wife, how do one think he should behave, i dont expect him to be a happy go lucky man than!! he will definitely go back to the serious mode and the angry mode, but may be this time he might cool down a little, because he has seen that his anger and ruthlessness has left him alone with oneone to hold on to. so may be he will mellow down a little.
and when he will find about kaajjal's memory loss, he will definitely take another roop, for this time its only to get kaajjal back to life, the life she had known, for dev will definitely blame himself for doing this to kaajjal. and he might do anything to bring happiness back to kaajjal. and in the meanwhile, may be kaajjal will fall in love with him again, only if adi maharaj lets her go ... 😡 but this time we will see a new dev, a passionate dev who knows his purpose of life and who will do anything and everything to get it.
In the end, i will only say. dev can be a perfect combination of dev and raju, only when kaajjal is by his side and they are together and happy. thats the only hope i have for my devu baby.
