But the wedge I referred to was Paro and Rudra's relationship - not Rudra and Mala.

So I will say I want for there to be a wedge created for a short while (a few days at least) between the hero and heroine. Sorry I said your post was long. 😭

I honestly don't think he can drive a wedge between them. Given how open they are with each other. But you never know. Maybe it won't be an issue of fidelity like Othello, but some other major issue that they won't agree on , causing a rift.

I do wonder where he is going with the Thakurain Maasa angle- he looked positively ecstatic when he found she was Teju's wife. Does this mean Teju is coming back ? *fingers and toes crossed*

When a new character is introduced be it positive or negative, using that character to cause a drift or drive a wedge between the leads is a run of the mill idea, overly used in telly shows. Instead of thinking what or how the villain will do to or play a role in parud's lives, reverse the roles and make parud work together to make life hell for the villain. Major and Mrs Ranawant can work together and investigate the villain , first thing they should check is whether their room is bugged or being videoed. The idea of the leads completely trusting each other and sharing everything with each other in a CONVINCING WAY is itself a very refreshing idea in Hindi telly drama, so I think that should be maintained through out the drama. If they work in partner ship in investigating the villain, Parvati can have some chance to showcase her intelligence other than just cooking, dyeing and sewing! At the same time we can have more screen time of parud in same frame longer, Investigation and romance is a great combination, well these are my personal thoughts, I leave the cvs to surprise us.

Let's see what happens...Shantanu can't make Rudra doubt Paro! That's impossible now given the purity of their love n their openness with each other...PaRud will probably disagree about something and that will be the wedge! Hoping for some exciting times!
