Key to Trp: WOMAN POWER

When I looked up a few other shows with good Trp, all had one thing in common, women power, after all who watch more soap serials, women of course, be it college students, home makers, career women and even grannies, all will definitely love it when women are shown to be intelligent in any kind of concept or context.
Another success formula r which I believe our RR fall into, make both male and female protagonists equally powerful. Women simply love powerful, protective, passionate and loving men, Rudra is all of that, now time to reinvent, restructure Parvati's character, her character is shown to be strong in glimpses, when we see and expect Parvati to do something, there she goes back into kitchen or dyeing clothes! In the current track, another opportunity is peeking there to show Parvati's intelligence and strength, let her join her husband in becoming the hunters... I mean the investigators instead of the preys... I mean the victims. Let the villain think that Parvati will be an easy victim (for he did witness her fear during Teej and when in the car) but let Parvati surprise the villain (and us) with her "shakthi", after all she is not given the name Parvati to be fearful and timid.

Can it be called a coincidence or an irony that Parvati is SHAKTHI AND THAT MEANS POWER!
I really wish to believe that the lead of Rangrasiya is named Parvati for a purpose and not... well something for the creators of Rangrasiya to ponder on.

I think you have it! I have been trying to be Paros voice I think, for a couple weeks now... Debating about no MUs, no triangles, no, Paro has guts and gumption, and she will see glory soon, and feeling crazy disturbed at the thought that others think that MUs and jealousy will bring the intensity back. But your post just now, was a real aha moment for me!
Empowerment! Emancipation!

Why is it that Shantanu gets to call the shots and Rudra and Rudra alone counters? Why is it that Paro remains in the safe world of her blind trust in Rudra? No!

Paros instinct about Shantanu is just a glimpse away from that photograph of Varun. A mention by Sunehri. I wish to God that the cvs empower her in some way and she stands alongside Rudra in her own way to protect their love. That would be so much more intense and emotional than a hackneyed MU! They spent the first five months of their life together In a giant MU for Gods Sake!

Thanks for such an eye opener post! Yay! 😆👏

I agree, and this is what most of the forum members here on IF has been pointing out for a while now. That they need to show all the women, not only the lead female, being strong, having a brain.

Yes they showed this with the tiny kidnapping track. But they fail to continue with the woman power.

yes this women power formula always works in indian television. Also lately with all the atrocities against women happening this could be a means to empowe rwomen by Making Paro equally strong as Rudra and fighting the evil Shantanu together.Wrriters please consider our two cents and apply it in the show.😛

Agreed.
The other thing is that once in a blue moon, a show based on the male lead's point-of-view has worked with the TRP audiences. However, even in those rare cases, it worked only when the female lead was given equal importance. As soon as they become too one-sided and start sidelining the female's feelings, the ratings go down.
In RR's case, having the story based on the male lead's POV hasn't worked at all from the beginning and has often produced disastrous results...so maybe they should have figured it out sooner and balanced it out.
