Ditto Jyoths, what a lovely post. Both of the friendships were portrayed brilliantly. Be it Nandu and Jassi's jokes or be it the pranks played by Armaan and Raj. It was just so natural. While in other serials we see nest friends turning into enemies. But here it was pure natural fridship. Oh how I loved that 'Atti batti' thing between Jassi and Nandu. Till date I don't know the lines of that ,they speak so fast. 😆 😆

exactly Tanny...even i want to know those lines😳...Between just love the innocence in the friendship of Jassi and Nandu😳..and as far as Raj and Armaan r concerned welll they were more fun😛

The best part in both the friendships was that they didnt act as haddi/haddi in the love story..Both raj and Nandu was supportive..the little difference is..Raj gave flop ideas causing problems in GM..and then left GM forever...
Nandu was there with Jassi till the end..he did give wrong ideas to jassi like taking bribe and betraying Armaan but jassi used her set of brains 😆 Both cases there was a natural friendship..unbreakable bond..Just the quality of the friendship was different.

Exactly the quality was different but the purity was same in both cases😊.and the best part is the friendships never turned sour due to some third angle or jealousy or betrayal unlike other daily soaps😃

Lovely topic Jyoti. Like I said in my other post a couple of days ago.
All these characters till the makeover are so real.
That's what I love about them.
That's why there will never be a JJKN again for me.

Yup Madhudi can't agree with u more...all the characters before the much-hyped makeover were more real and interesting😛

Very true Jyoti and great post!!!

True friends are very hard to find and when you find one it makes two to tango!! Friendship is one ship in which you can never sail, if the friend is not a true one!!!

Jassi-Nandu friendship and Armaan-Raj friendship are such beautiful examples taking the meaning of the word freindship to heights that are unscalable!!

I always thought that Jassi always underestimated Nandu as her friend but she would do or die for his friendship. She valued it close to her life and likewise, Armaan and Raj shared that special bond where Armaan would freely bare his heart and soul to Raj!!!

Hats off to the name of Frinedship!!!

Autumn very well said ..in fact u r right Jassi did underestimated Nandu many times especially when Nandu was not too happy with Jassi's decision to marry purab, but still the unique thing is Nandu never felt that way..there was no scope for any insecurity complex in their friendship which is the best part👏

I agree, and it's a great oservation. 😊 In other serials the best friend inevitably turns out to be a KMH or a hidden enemy. Here, it was real, natural and steadfast.

Do note, however, that the quality of Raj-Armaan's bond was a bit different from that in BLF. In the original show, Raj and Armaan end up fighting over Jassi when Armaan realises that he loves her and Raj thinks he was gone nuts ....Raj leaves GM and doesnt even attend their wedding. In the sequel, Ecomonda, Raj is always trying to hook up Armaa with other girls and neglect Jassi. Thakfully, in JJKN they showed Raj realising his mistake and even helping her in the Jessica Bedi case. In fact, after the 5 August fiasco, they showed a preview where Raj and Armaan are fighting over Armaan's not trusting Jassi. They never showed the actual scene though, and we didnt see Raj again. 😭

Well yes i remember when Raj tried to make armaan realize his mistake of marrying mallika and not trusting jassi...they showed it in the priview but never aired the scene in the episode😕...mayb diya and tony got busy doing some damage control of the 5th august episode😆😭

i totally agree with you jyoti ... the bond of friendship - selfless and true - was very beautifully shown in JJKN.

no matter whatever happened, friendship was always there to support them, that was great.
