destroyin one's culture to gain TRP's

NOTE - this is simply my POV.. so if someone feels hurt by wat i said.. or d way i talked.. do forgive.. i really don't mean to cause anyone pain or anger or wateva.. im just venging out my anger..and hopefully my POV

im not sure wat hurt me or wat made me angry d most in yesterday's epi..

was it d fact that JB got married.. but DDG/bani got half married to AD 😕-- yes it doesn't count.. as they didn't fully complete d rituals

but hey i neva found marriage to be a joke.. i don' think anyone does... but wat bani was shown to do yesterday.. i mean if they wanted to show.. that bani needed that 1 month to get her kids bac😕.. y couldn't she talk to him.. before d rituals😕.. if he (AD) understood her POV in d middle of d rituals.. im sure he would've understood it before.. so was it really needed to go THAT far.. and get her married to jai.. and get her marriage.. half way done wit AD😕

now destroyin one's culture... i don't know.. indian shows tend to .. well d characters.. they tend to pray a lot.. have full faith in God (at times.. most times)😳 -- nothin wrong there.. and in most cases.. there's alwayz that one character that talks NON stop about 'sanskar'.. im sorry basi roti -- when my mommy/daddy gave me my sanskar.. never did they mention anythin about an ONS or gettin married wit a man.. and gettin half-married wit d other man

i am one proud person when it comes to my culture.. cuz of wat we're taught.. cuz of wat we're like.. and KS.. its just.. a disgrace.. in most cases.. and basi roti.. i don't know y u felt that ONS is wat today's people wanna see.. or one and a half marriage.. sigh.. u need to 😡

(even though im still a believer that nothin that happened that night.. assumin somethin did happen).. y couldn't u have d character of Jai have an ons wit someone else.. y his sister - in - law???.. that's just 🤢🤢🤢 its safe to say.. like many other relationships.. jiju/sali relationship has its own cuteness to it.. jiju/sali relationship has its masti.. teasing.. form of respect and its LIMITS.. which u basi roti forgot about.. and now this whole marriage.. i've never heard or seen a girl marry a guy mid-way then go rush marry another guy.. on d same day.. pure comedy i tell u 😆😆 and normally i'd never be this rude to someone.. but u r brainless as well as heartless.. i dont know which one comes first.. but u need to quit while ur ahead.. wat u show is NOT wat we wanna see.. EVER!!

I understand what you're trying to say and I agree as well... 😛 Jijus/Saalis do have a cute relationship which we can see between Rano and Jai... 😳 But honestly the relation between Pia and Jai is just pure joke, nothing else... 🤢 I also agree of the way they showed the 1 and half marriage (as you said)...Pretty disgusting and weird... 😡 Kasamh Se is surely down in the drain... 😕 😭 Do you remember what it was once? Those golden days were the best...The three sweet sisters from Mount. Abu ...Jai Walia the Raging Bull... 😳 And Ashwini as Jigyaasa...Those were the times...So miss them... 😭 The only thing I am liking about KS at the moment is the fact that Durga and Jai will be under the same roof for one month...Let's just pray Jai can spill the beans soon! 😳 😛 😉

You made perfect sense and I agree that what they are showing is NOT what I want to see also. But somewhere out there people will watch because they love RK or PD or the fact that JB are together however tainted the reunion is - and Basi Roti and Ekta and the other degenerates will get their 'well earned' cash and go to the bank.

The TRPs will continue to rise because JB are in the same frame with a one month period for reigniting the flame that was there. RK and PD have infused life into JW and BW but the chemistry and the passion of the original JB will never be the same. This reunion is as tainted as the ONS reunion on KC night. Possibly worse because Bani was a willing participant. We know JW wasn't a willing participant in the ONS.

I hope that the majority of viewers repulsed by this storyline will rebel and refuse to watch it. Don't let the TRPs rise. This is the only way these people will know that we don't approve.

Ultimately we are the ones who control the krap they will show us. Ultimately we control their bank books. Post ONS I had hoped that KS TRPs would sink like the Titanic just the way KS was sinking - but the acting skills of RK and PD held us in their grip. Now I wonder with all the substandard qualities of this show will the majority of us remain?

Will we continue to let Ekta be the Queen of television serials which only reinforces her belief that the sh** that she is putting out on tv is what we want?

I am all with u...I was disappointed that the drama had to go this far to destroy our culture...someone who is foreign to our culture...see this drama will totally misunderstand our culture..AS the day pass by EKTA seems to reach nEw low every time....

I completely agree Navs. They are making a joke out of the institution. So what...only the sindoor makes two people a married couple? What about all the mantras and pheres? Are they not important? If not, why would they be included in the wedding in the first place. They're just degrading the concept...and along with that Bani's character as well

The problem is that even though all of us curse Ekta, we don't (or can't) stop seeing her krappy shows. There's not a day I regret the day I started seeing krapzk (that's what we call KZK!)...but I still go n read the updates everyday 😕

We see it coz we wanna see our fac actors/characters...& we stick to teh show till they are tehre...so Ekta shows whatever she wants to

I dont think tv should be expected to repersent culture and values all the time how can they make a serial if everyone and everythings shown perfect. For my values and culture are in no way linked to serials in fact its probably because i like india etc that i watch these shows people who anyhow arent in touch with their culture wouldnt watch these shows so cant exactly put ideas in their head.

They have made a mockery of every tradition, culture, value and anything we hold sacred related to the sanctity of a marriage. I have never felt the level of disgust as i have in the last 2 epis.
