My third SS for the same track... Bear with me once again... Thanks to Nikki and Kavi who encouraged me by telling about this concept...
The case got a dramatic ending when Ishita withdrew the case on getting to know about the truth by chance when she got to hear a phone conversation between Raman and Shagun... Ishita stopped Shagun outside the court room...
Ishita: Ek minute...
Shagun: Ab kya? Tumne kaha aakhri dam tak ladayi karogi ,this, that... Ab case withdraw kar diya tumne? Afraid of losing the case?
Ishita: Shagun... Come out of your delusional world... Mujhe sach pata chal gayi... Raman ki taraf mat dekhiye. Unhone kuch nahi kaha... And for your kind information, saboot bhi mil gayi... Jis footage ko aap log sabotage karna chahte the, uska ek aur copy tha jo mujhe mil gaya... Jinse aapne gaadi bechi thi, unhone hume statement de diya ki uss gaadi accident ke din Ashok ke naam pe hi tha.
Shagun: Toh withdraw kyon kiya?
Ishita: Raman ke liye... Woh apne bete ko bachana chahta tha isliye kiya... Lekin aap... Kitna gir gayi... Apne bete ka isthamal kiya hume juda karne ke liye. Jab maine aapse maafi mangne ke liye kaha, tab aap case chalane ki baat kar rahi thi... Matlab saaf hai na? Aapke bete ki takleef aapko pareshan nahi karta...
Shagun: Tum mujhe sikhavoge?
Ishita: Ofcourse... Why not?
Shagun was speechless... She couldn't believe that she lost it before Ishita and due to her mercy, she has come out clean out of this case. Raman's eyes which had respect and love for Ishita showed her how her plan has backfired. She left that place in a moment to escape from the wrath of other members of Bhalla family.
Raman was happy with Ishita and the sudden turn of events.
Raman: (Thinking) Thank god... Sab teek hogayi. Adi ko bachaliya maine aur ab Ishita...usse sach pata chal gayi. Woh meri majboori ko samaj paayegi...samaj gayi infact, isiliye case withdraw kiya...mere liye... That's what she told Shagun. I must thank Ishita and apologise for my behaviour.
He was quite hopeful that Ishita would definitely accept his apology... He was staring at Ishita to get her attention. Everyone hugged Ishita and Ishita told them something and started moving towards her car. But, before getting into the car, she looked into Raman's eyes. That look...confused Raman to the core. It didn't have any emotions... No anger, no disappointment, no love, nothing... She broke that eye-lock very soon and got into her car and fled off.
Raman: Mamma... Ishita...
Toshi: Clinic mein kuch kaam tha... Raman, tumne itna bada sach humse chupaya? Agar pehle bata diya hota toh yeh sab natak ki zaroorat hi nahi padti...
Raman: Majboor tha... Adi ke naam ka kasam liya Shagun ne mujhse... Khair...Chodo... Ab sab teek ho gayi...
Raman planned to take Ishita for dinner to clear the confusion between them regarding this case. Raman kept on waiting for her but Ishita didn't turn up before 9.00 p.m.
Mr.Bhalla: Puttarji... Itne der ho gayi aaj?
Ishita: Haan papaji... Iss hafte bahut saari appointments cancel kiya maine iss case ke liye... So...
Raman: Ishita... Tayyar ho jao... Dinner ke liye bahar jaa rahe hain hum...
Ishita: Sorry... Main kaa chuki hoon. Pata nahi tha na... (Quickly) Mummyji, Ruhi so gayi?
Toshi: Haan Ishita... So gayi...
Ishita: Main fresh hokar aati hoon... Thoda madad karne ke liye...
Romi: Bhai... Bahut dino ke baad aaj ghar mein vaapas sab khush hai. Ek movie dekhna toh banta hai...
Mr.Bhalla: Tere saath baitkar James Bond dekhne ke liye hum Ruhi thodi hai...
Romi: Arey... Aap movie ka title bataiye... Mein CD lekar aata hoon...
Raman got reminded of one convo where Ishita was telling Ruhi that DDLJ was her all time favourite...
Raman: DDLJ dekhna hai... CD hai tere pass...
Romi: Ofcourse Bhai... Abhi lekar aata hoon...
Ishita didn't react to any of these... She was engrossed in her household work. Romi and others dragged her and made her sit with them to watch the movie... Since, no one was watching it for the first time, everyone was passing comments while watching it. Raman was targeting Ishita with his one liners but Ishita politely smiled to all of his one-liners and was keen on changing the topic... When half of the movie got over,
Raman: Romi... Der ho gayi... Main jaa raha hoon tumhare bhabhi ke saath... Usko bhi clinic jaana hai aur mujhe office...
Ishita obediently got up from her place and followed Raman into their room.
Ishita: Good night Raman...
Unable to take it anymore, he held her by her shoulders...
Raman: Yeh sab kya hai? Mujhe aisa avoid kyon kar rahi ho?
Ishita: Avoid... Kya matlab... Aapko kuch baat karna hai kya? Toh kahiye... Kya baat hai?
Raman: Ishita... Kyon kar rahi ho aisa? Apne gusse nikalne ke liye yehi tareeka mila tumhe?
Ishita: Gussa... I think I have told you before... Gussa ek emotion hai jo apnon se kiya jaata hai. Aapse gussa? You must be kidding...
Raman: Ishita... Don't do this to me... Tum chahe toh mujhe daanto, kuch bhi kaho... lekin aise nahi... Itna sweet bankar mujhe torture mat karo... Ek chance de do iss rishthe ko...
Ishita: Excuse me? Did I just hear rishtha... Kounsi rishtha... Oh...Woh rishtha jiske wajah se aapne court mein declare kiya ki aap accident ke waqt Shagun ke saath the...
Raman: Aur kya kartha mein? Majboor...
Ishita: Sun chuki hoon Raman... Countless number of times... Aapke muh se aur uss din Shagun se baat karte waqt... Isliye withdraw kiya...Iss case ko...
Raman: Lekin maaf nahi kar rahi ho...
Ishita: Aapke majboori ke aage mere gham aapko dikh nahi rahi hai na... Mera dil thod diya aapne... Bharosa nahi hai na...mujhpe...
Raman: Aisa nahi hai. Shagun ne mujhe rok liya...
Ishita: Really... Aap Shagun ki baat kabse manna shuru kiya? Oh...uss din maine kaha... Ritesh ke party mein... Kam se kam iss ek baat ka maan toh rakha aapne... Baaki baton ko toh...aise bhool gaya hoga na...
Raman: Mere pass sorry ke alva bolne ke liye kuch hai nahi. Adi se bahut pyaar karta hoon main...
Ishita: Isliye iss case ko bewajah court mein le aaya na...tamasha karne ke liye. Jab mein Parmeet ko Simi le liye maaf karne ke liye tayaar thi, kya main Adi ko maaf nahi kar sakthi? Aur...aapne apne bache ko galtiyan karne ki badava bhi diya uske galti ko support karke... Aisa karna ek baap ko shobha nahi deta...
Raman: Itne saalon ke baad...
Ishita: Enough... This argument can never end... Yehi chod dijiye isse. Aaj ke baad, main aapse kuch expect nahi karoongi... Aap kahan ja rahe ho, kab aaoge, kiske saath ho, yeh sab nahi poochongi aapse... You can live your life the way you want it... Haan lekin, Ruhi aur parivaar logon ke saamne job hi karna hoga woh karoongi... Lekin ,iss kamre ke andar hum dono ke beech kuch nahi hai... We are just two individuals who are forced by circumstances to stay together...
Raman: Ishita... Shagun ke wajah se nahi kiya maine yeh sab...
Ishita: Jaanti hoon... Aaj Adi ke liye Shagun ke saath dena pada... Kal pata nahi kya hoga... I don't want to suffer anymore...
Raman: Iss rishthe ko nibaane ka mauka do...please...
Ishita: Jab kuch bacha hi nahi hai iss rishthe mein... isko nibaane ka kya faayda? Waise, aapke pass nibaane ke liye aur bhi rishthe hai... Aapke parivaar walon ne aapko maaf kiya hoga... You fulfill your responsibilities towards them... Gud nyt...
Raman couldn't digest Ishita's piercing words... He couldn't see her as a stranger anymore... He made a grave mistake by hiding the truth from her and by supporting Shagun... He wanted to go out but dropped that idea on thinking about answering his family who would be watching the movie... Raman knew that his helplessness is no where a excuse to his actions... He was in that verge of his life where he was afraid of losing Ishita... Grief was enveloping him from all sides... He finally took their wedding album and started looking at their pics where he saw a smiling Ishita who was ready to sacrifice her life for a stranger...i.e., Ruhi... Raman was lost in Ishita's thoughts and dozed off...
