'Let's Talk' with Chocolate Boy Shahid Kapur
With the face that seems to have set a million young hearts aflutter, this star-kid comes with an enchanting persona. Watch the charming, handsome and an extremely talented actor, Shahid Kapur in a heart-to-heart conversation with Tarana Raja Kapoor, the host of celebrity chat show 'Let's Talk' on Zoom.
Coming from a family of stage actors, Kapur has a reputation to watch out for and believes in the mantra "NEVER plan anything, wait for the surprises". Shahid never thought of using his parents' reputation as his trump card to enter the film industry and proved to be a determined actor. Apart from being a talented actor, he is also a highly regarded dancer, the passion for which drove him to join Shaimak's dance group at a very young age.
His foray into Bollywood was not by fluke. Shahid reminisces those days of hard work, when he struggled to bag the role in his debut movie ISHQ VISHQ for which he was earlier rejected, as he didn't have the desired look. His launch however turned out to be a sensational one.
Shahid adores his parents. Though he is closer to his mom Neelima, he has lot of respect for his dad, Pankaj Kapur. In his chat, he unveils his biggest fear on being unable to match up to his father's acting repertoire.
When asked about his long time actress girlfriend Kareena Kapoor and the details of how their romance began, the actor blushed away unwilling to reveal the details but promised to confide it to Tarana off camera.
Shahid gives the credit of his health and fitness to his vegetarian appetite. He also confesses that he but wasn't one until he read this particular book that changed his outlook and has turned Kareena into a vegetarian too.
