Ankita Sharma, who is famous for her negative character Laila in Rangrasiya, has put in her papers, say sources close to the actress. Ankita, who has been missing from the show for a while now, has already started looking for other offers, the source adds. While Ankita refused to comment on the issue, a source close to her said, "Ankita has informed the producers of her decision and they have mutually parted ways. The show hasn't been getting ratings and the producers are experimenting with various tracks. Recently, a male negative lead has also been introduced to rev up the ratings. Ankita had allotted her dates for the show, but they weren't used. Instead of waiting for her track to open up, she decided to leave the show."

Though we texted producer Saurabh Tewari, he didn't revert to our messages and was unavailable for comment. Meanwhile, sources from the channel refuted the news of her quitting the show.

whatever they have serious problem in CVS dept and etc
they couldn't use any character to their full extent 😡
leaving them in a half way

Her track was bad and honestly I don't mind ...

For ankita also ...its better she looks for other shows 😊

Well no more Laila then😆.

I feel Ankita was never suited for the role of Laila. She is a good actress but she never fit into this role. The PH just mis casted her I feel. No offence to Ankita fans cos am talking about the character Laila she played.

Anyways Good luck Ankita for your future ventures. 😃

well said... I have seen this lady n a south indian show and she def. has huge talent... they just killed her character totally. Without any grip on the storyline she was just thrown as a comeback a month before and am not surprised they closed the loop hole similar to what was done with Tejawat ...Both these actors who supposedly quit RR are said to have alloted dates and kept on HOLD with all new changes to storyplot...

RR team buckle up and pull your socks !! fix the loose connects of the storyline - its high time !!
