Nice! Good for her and good for us. She is a bad actress for Laila and Laila the character was anyway butchered by the writers as they have conception of how to write female characters..

hmm... I just wished they could have given her a prope closure. A proper character exit I mean.. if we had not read this news, I guess we all would have been pondering if Shantanu was being guided by Laila !!

TFS. As such her character was not well developed. The CV had the potential to show the jealousy track but wasted it.

What a waste... I really felt Laila was the keystone character that would link the story between Paro's love and the blood colored border. I will go so far as to say, without Laila, her rather grey nature, and those years, it would have been difficult to see Rudra as someone who can truly love Parvati.

Personally, I felt she, the actress, was part of the ensemble and the creative team did not do their half of the job to tie together the story that was right there. [EDIT: I enjoyed Laila, and the actress, whenever she, Laila, got a chance to reappear.]

I really do hope she gets another, proper chance at trying a negative role as I think there is a lot of creative growth that is prime.
