Is love making Deepika Padukone unprofessional?

It seems love knows no boundaries and this seems specially true in the case of actress Deepika Padukone. According to a report in mid-day, the pretty actress reportedly let go of her professional commitments to spend time with her alleged beau Ranveer Singh on his birthday.

The report adds that the day Deepika flew to Turkey was the day when she was scheduled to shoot a commercial for a cosmetic brand that she has been endorsing for a while.


Quoting a source, the report adds that Deepika has back-to-back work commitments. She will begin shooting for Imtiaz Ali's Tamasha with Ranbir Kapoor, followed by Shoojit Sircar's Piku in August. Then she will also begin promotions for Finding Fanny, followed by Happy New Year. mid-day also states that since her calendar was blocked, it was a Herculean task for the brand to get a date from her. So when she cancelled the shoot, the brand was seemingly very upset.

The report adds how the shoot for the advertisement was planned three months in advance. As the actress planned to surprise Ranveer on his birthday, she planned the trip last minute and hence had to cancel the shoot.

The actress' spokesperson denies the buzz and says that Deepika finished her brand commitments before flying out of India.
