Maan then looked at her deeply ..She was in bath robe..White bathrobe was giving her a divine yet desirable look..

She blushed a little at his question and she tried to go from there in the effort to hide that blush but could not go as Maan had held her hand and pulled her towards himself..she came back in his arms with the same speed with which she turned to go.Now she was standing glued to Maan and her one hand was in Maan's grip and the other hand was on his shoulder..

She was very close to him..Maan was looking at her with the desiring eyes.. she was looking like a fresh flower with the aroma of soap and shampoo. Maan parted himself away from her and looked in her eyes..he could see longing for himself there..he copped her face and caressed her cheeks-I missed you too Geet..

and he kissed on her forehead..Geet felt some tears in her eyes seeing her feelings being reciprocated in the same way..Maan wiped those tears and kissed her both eyes..he scooped her in his arms and brought her on the bed..he made her lay on the bed and laid near her ..Geet's hand was on bed sheet and Maan clutched her hand in his own..

He raised his upper body and rested on his one arm. He brought his face near her...Geet's heart was thudding too fast to come out of her body any moment with that close proximity..She turned her face to look in to the other direction but Maan made her to look in to his eyes..

Her lips were trembling as if she wanted to say something..

Maan-Geet..do you want to say something? and Geet looked at him surprised as if he read what was running in her mind and heart..she wanted to speak but her words were not helping her. She wanted to say her heart to him but was feeling helpless and again her eyes welled up.

.Maan wiped those tears and again said-Geet whatever you have in your heart please speak up

And he again kissed her head and adjusted her hair.Geet looked at his eyes and he blinked them assuring her to say anything which she wanted..She brought her hand forward and touched his face lovingly and Maan kissed her palm as her hand reached near his lips

Geet-Maan..I.. I..m sorry but..I can't help it now

Maan- to bolo na Geet why are you stopping yourself?

Geet-I..I.. she closed her eyes and said-I... love you Maan..

she did not open her eyes and waited for the response from Maan..but there was no response..after few moments she opened her eyes and found herself alone on the bed..She got up with a jerk and looked here and there in the room to see Maan.

.but he was not there..

Then she realized that Maan was not there she was lost in her own thoughts as her feeling were ruling her today..so she was only imagining him here in the room..and she got scared -What if he responds me in the same way as he responded right now by not answering me?.

But she consoled herself-Geet calm down..let him come first..Why you are in such hurry..and I think you should not stay here otherwise you will gone mad today..and she decided to go to Anie's room as she was finding it difficult to stay here ..She was badly missing him and she was imagining such moments about which she was not sure would be true or not.

She changed her clothes and came down

As she stepped down from the last step and her legs froze at their place..

she heard Ram shouting on phone-What? Accident? Maan wahin hai na? Is he all right?

. She could not listen who was other side of the phone..priya was standing near him with worried face..Geet moved ahead to go near them but she again heard Ram's next sentence-What? you have taken him to the hospital? Which hospital?" I m just coming there..take care of him.Ask the DR. on the duty to attend him immediately and give best possible treatment.

Geet could hear only this . She did not believe her ears..She lost her all energy and courage to go to them and ask about what happened ..She turned and ran in to her room and sat on the floor near he bed..She picked up Maan's photo which was on the table and clutched it near her heart-.Nahin aiasa nahin ho sakta..Maan ko kuchh nahin ho sakta..Nothing can happen to him..Fear of losing him was clearly on her face..Tears started to flow from her eyes.. she again and again kissed the picture of Maan in frame-No you can't do this to me Maan..you cannot leave me ..You have to come back Maan..you have to.You can't cheat me like Yash did.. She tightly clutched the frame near her heart and she sat there only as if she was waiting for some bad news.. her eyes were shading continuously..

Down stairs in the hall

Ram said to priya- Priya I m going to the hospital..will try to come back soon..He called Suresh to come with him and asked another maid servant to be with priya till he came back..

Ram left with Suresh.. priya was very tensed ..Servant was with her. After some time Anie came -Maa bhaiya hasn't come yet..It's very late and Priya told her-Anie a freshly constructed wall collapsed on the site where Maan was that time and one worker was injured badly as he was passing by that wall that time. He is having multiple fractures in his body. Maan has taken him to the hospital and your father too has gone to the hospital..do one thing... go and ask Geet to come down she must be waiting for Maan and he is going to be late..

Anie -yes maa and she went to call Geet ..As she looked in to the room ..It was dark and she could not hear any sound there.. She thought that Geet must be sleeping so she did not disturb her. She came back and told priya that Geet was sleeping

Priya -It's ok it's good that she is sleeping other wise she would have been worried for Maan..

After few hrs..Maan with Ram and Suresh returned..priya saw Maan and inspected him if he was fine or not..

Maan-maa I m perfectly fine..But pray for that man who was injured ..he has three small children..He is injured badly

Priya asked Ram-Is everything fine there ..I mean any police case?

Ram-No... it was an accident and he is out of danger.. he gave his statement to police that it was not the mistake of any human ..it was an accident.. I have asked the DR. to take care of him well and we will bear his all the expenses..and then he asked- Geet kahaan hai?

Maan too looked for her..

Priya -she is sleeping .she does not know anything so we did not disturb her.

Suresh-Nahin ..she knows. When sir was talking on the phone she was coming down and after hearing sir's conversation she ran back in to her room..I saw her and thought that she had forgotten something in her room and would come back after collecting it..After that I went to the hospital..

Ram thought for some time and then he got scared after recalling back his conversation with Roshan-OMG..Maan . I think she did not listen whole conversation..When Roshan called me I thought you had met with the accident and now I m sure Geet too would have thought the same..wo abhi tak yahi soch rahi hogi ki tumhara accident hua hai..

Anie-but papa when I went to call bhabhi.. the room was dark and there was no sound..

Maan -Did you check her by switching the light on

Now Anie was so angry on herself for not doing that-nahin Bhaiya..I m sorry ...and Maan rushed to his room..

Priya and Anie too were following him but Ram stopped them-.ruko tum log ..sab ek saath jaayenge to wo aur darr jaayegi.. Let him handle her first and priya and Anie did what he said..Maan was covering two or three steps of the stairs in his one step.. He was scared to even imagine the condition of Geet.. he prayed to God in his mind to see a safe Geet..He opened the door with a jerk and switched the light on..he looked around and found Geet sitting on the floor with her face in her knees.. He got scared.. he had seen her in that worn out condition earlier too after the death of Yash..

He called her-Geet..and Geet heard his voice..she lifted her face up too see the source of that voice ..She found maan there..she could not believe her eyes,,Maan was standing in front of her eyes..she swiftly stood keeping the frame on the floor and ran towards him and stopped when she reached in front of him..

Maan looked at her face,,her eyes were swollen due to crying..her face had the marks of the tears.. he too felt his eyes wet seeing her in that worst condition..

Tears again flowed from her eyes ..She moved ahead swiftly and clutched him in her tight hug..she wrapped up her arms around his neck ..

and Maan too wrapped his arms around her..The tightness in her hug was indicating the level of her fear to Maan.

He caressed her back with his palms to make her calm,,her whole body was moving because of the sobs.. After getting solace in his arms and feeling him near herself Geet parted herself away from him and touched his face with her palm as she wanted to make sure that it was not her dream or imagination .

.It was actual Maan who was standing with her safe and sound..Maan kissed her palm as ir reached near his lips-Geet it's me ..Maan..I m fine..

Geet heard that and she again hugged him-Mujhe laga maine aap ko kho diya.

Maan-nahin Geet ..I m perfectly fine.. and Then Geet realized her position ..she realized how she was hugging him..She tried to separate herself from him-I m sorry..wo main thoda darr gayi thi issilie.. I m really sorry but Maan did not let her go.. he cupped her face in his palms and kissed her both eyes one by one.. he looked at her and again brought her in his embrace..

Geet was surprised at his reaction..before she could say a word they listened the knock on the door..Their family was standing at the door ..they hurriedly parted away seeing them at the door.

Priya came near Geet and she looked at her..her condition was clearly telling them that she knew about the accident..

Priya hugged her and said-Geet why did not you come to us if you listened to Ram's talks..I was thinking that you were sleeping..I m sorry beta..tum itni der yahaan akeli thi

Geet-Maa I was scared to hear about the accident..bahut darr gayi thi..and she again sobbed ..

Ram caressed her head-dekho he is fine ..Geet Maan did not meet with the accident It was a worker at the site who came under a wall which collapsed ..And he pecked her forehead with love..don't take stress..and Geet nodded..

Maan was feeling too bad to see her in that condition but her this condition was telling him that she had started to love him like he loved her..and he smiled though he was feeling pain to see his Geet in that condition..

Priya- It's already very late.. 2 baj chuke hain..Let's do one thing..I will ask Suresh to send your dinner here itself as all must be tired..It was time for Sargi at 4 in the morning..but that's not possible now..I m sending your sargi along with your dinner..so take teat that too as the shagun ..Theek hai..Maan fresh ho jaao main dinner bhijwaati hoon..and saying this she again gave a look to geet-Geet beta sab theek hai na to don't be tensed now..and they all left

Maan went to get fresh..in the mean time Suresh came with the dinner and left after leaving it on the table..

Though all had consoled her but her fear was still in her mind.,,she was shedding tears continuously.though she was trying hard to control herself but the eyes were not listening to her..

Maan came out of the washroom and saw Geet still crying ..he put his towel on the bed and sat near her..he turned her towards him and said-Geet..Please don't cry..dekho main hoon tumhaare paas sahi salaamat..to rone ki kya baat hai? And her tears rolled out with speed.. He wiped them and took her In her side embrace and petted her head to comfort her..

After sometime she got little relaxed and her sobs subsidized. Maan took the food plate in his hand and taking a morsel in his hand he brought it near his mouth but Geet shook her head in a no...

Maan-Please..mere liye..

And she took that in her mouth..he tried to make her eat another one but she held his hand and brought it near his mouth and he smiled to see her effort and he ate that morsel..and he made her have the food and ate himself too. After eating he made Geet lay on the bed and he himself laid on his side.. sleep was not in their eyes,.. Maan closed his eyes as he was very tired Though Get too was exhausted by her crying ...she was starring at Maan whose eyes were closed .She thought that he was sleeping ..and thinking about whatever happened few hrs ago and the mare thought of losing him made her shivered she again cried. Though she tried a lot to stop herself from crying but a sob came out of her mouth and Maan frowned after hearing that sobbing sound ..before he could turn Geet turned and now her back was facing him..

she did not want to disturb him but she did not know that Maan was not sleeping..he too was thinking about whatever happpned.. Maan turned and he saw Geet facing him with her back.

.He brought his hand forward to touch her but his hand touched the pillow and he found it wet..He knew that she was still crying

..he called her -Geet and turned her towards him by holding her shoulder

..she turned without any resistance and Maan looked at her tearful face. He wiped them with his fingers and came near her by shifting his pillow near her..he held her head and signaled her to come to him and she came near him and he took her in his arms to console her..he kissed her hair and threaded then with his fingers till she slept..

When he saw her sleeping he wrapped his arms around her and said-bas Geet this is the last night of your tears and sadness.I promise you to wipe all these tears of sadness or fear from your eyes..I m going to give a surprise to you..tomorrow's moon will bring all the happiness in our life..bas kal raat tak ka intezaar aur geet..I want to make it special for you..and he took her palms in his hand ..he saw her mahandi clad palms.. they had a dark color of mehandi and he could see his own name written in the center of her palms. He kissed that place and thought -.I never loved my name seeing anywhere as I love it now seeing at your palm..he turned himself towards her and collected her securely in his arms and he too slept with a sweet smile on his lips..Geet was already sleeping comfortably as she every time used to sleep there..
