Seeing her smiling at him, he collected all his courage and placed his pillow near Geet;'s pillow and now he was very close to her. He kept his arm under her head .Geet's head was on his arm and he pulled her on him and Geet willingly came on him to sleep..

She put her head on his broad chest and Maan was having a contended smile on his lips for having her near him. He held her protectively in his arms and slept peacefully with his Geet keeping near him..

In the morning Maan woke up..

He wished Geet Good morning in a whisper and pecked on her head softly but he felt that something else other than Geet's hair touched his lips. He opened his eyes and saw that it was the soft pillow which he was hugging tightly in his arms presuming it as Geet. His eyes widened and he realized that not only Geet was missing him , he too was missing her. He took his phone in his hand and Kissed the picture of Geet on it's screen

Maan.-.Good morning Geet..I m missing you..

He went in to the washroom and after getting fresh he came out..He was alone here so thought to get ready first and then to go for the work ..he opened the closet and took out his clothes..he turned and he found Geet standing there with the cup of coffee in her hand.

He stared at her for few second..Geet smiled and signaled him with her eyes to take the coffee.. he took the coffee in his hand and sipped it..

It was nice he smiled and brought his hand to touch her face but she disappeared...Maan looked here and there but no one was there.. he scolded himself-How can she be here..I talked her at night..Stop dreaming about her..You have lot of work to do..

He called the room service and ordered for his breakfast and told to bring in half an Hour..

He picked up his clothes and entered in to the bathroom to take the shower.. he came out after 20 minutes and started to wear his clothes .he put on his shirt, trousers and waist coat..after that he picked up his tie and started to put around his neck and he felt a tug on the tie..

he looked and again found Geet holding the tie in her hand. She was smiling seeing him..His hands stopped and Geet started to tie the knot of the tie

..Maan was constantly staring her.

Geet raised her eyebrow as if she was asking -What happened?

And Maan shook his head in a no... Geet tied the knot..and adjusted his waistcoat with the tie..

Maan smiled to see her..and Geet gave a thumbs up to him ..Maan tried to hold her but he heard an knock on the door.It was some service boy to serve his BF.. he asked him to keep that on the table..and Geet had disappeared till then..

He got ready and he forgot to have BF while thinking about Geet..He opened the door of the room to gp out..Bot Geet held his hand..Maan turned and looked at her...Geet shook her head in a no and brought him near the table where the BF was kept. She made him sit on the chair. He followed whatever she signaled him to do. Geet picked up the bowl of the pasta in her hand. She took some pasta with the help of the fork and brought it near his mouth. He opened his mouth and took the pasta in..Seeing nher only feeding himself, he took the fork from her hand and after taking the pasta he made her eat too but she was not there..

He again searched her everywhere but it was only his imagination. He was surprised at his own behavior. He did not have now mood to eat the pasta and he left it on the table..But his mobile rang..

Maan looked at the caller ID.It was Geet..he hurriedly picked up the call and said-,,stop troubling me..

Geet-What? I m troubling you? How could you say that Maan..when did I trouble you?..and Maan realized that it was real Geet who called her not his imagination.

He slapped lightly his head and said-Geet I m sorry..wo galati se nikal gaya. I was thinking something else...Please don't mind..

Geet-Hmm that's better..

Maan -Good morning Geet..

Geet-Good morning..BTW it's afternoon here..Did you have your breakfast?

Maan fumbled on his words -haan naahin wo.o ..

Geet-What is this Maan? Ek baat boliye na ...Yes or no..and I know your answer will be no ..if you had have your breakfast then you would have said it confidently..so..Maan please have your BF before you leave..

Maan smiled from his heart hearing her soothing voice-Okk.. I m going to have..Did you have your lunch.?

Geet-nahin abhi time hai thoda.. I will have on time with papa..

Maan-Ok Geet..

Geet-Bye Maan and please have your BF..

Maan-ya sure .Bye..

And after cutting the call he took the bowl of the pasta in his hand and started to eat and finished that with a sweet smile on his lips ..after all it was the order of his love

Roshan Knocked at his door and Maan asked him to come in. he came and picked up the files and Maan's laptop.

They came where the cab was waiting for them .Roshan opened the door and Maan's eyes fell in to the cab..He found Geet sitting at the back seat. She waved her hand toward him and settled at one side of the seat and signaled him to sit near her by patting on the seat...Roshan tried to sit But Maan stopped him.-Roshan please let me get in first and Roshan was surprised at this.

Roshan -Sure sir..

And Maan moven in to the cab..Looking at her he settled near her..After they settled Roshan started to narrate the point s to Maan .Maan tried to listen to him but Geet was disturbing him. She snaked her both arms around his muscled arms and he gulped his saliva seeing her too near...her soft body was resting on his arm..

He tried to concentrate on work but Geet again naughtily put her head on his shoulder..and closed her eyes..Maan being helpless by her closeness blabbered-Geet stop please..

And Roshan s reaction was like What I m doing sir?

And he asked-Did you say something sir?

Maan-Nahin to..Did you hear something? He glared at him.

And Roshan gulped his saliva-No..no sir I did not hear anything..Maan gave a stern look first to Roshan and Then to Geet and Geet disappeared. Maan shook his head and he got busy in the discussion The Cab stopped when they reached at the destination.

Roshan asked the driver-How Much?

And the driver said-50 dollars sir... and Maan again was shocked to hear Geet's voice..He looked towards the driver

and saw Geet at the driver's seat..he moved ahead to say something but Geet gave a wink to him and fled with the cab as roshan had already paid the rent...

Maan looked at up and prayed to God"Please god .take care of me today...Please save me from doing any blunder at client's office..

The meeting started and at one point maan found Geet sitting in front of him wearing the specs

..and she was again and again adjusting her spects..

Maan signaled her not to disturb but Geet was not ready to listen.

She was repeating her action every now and then and giving a deep look to him..Maan came near her and tried to hold her but he heard some sound and looked that it was not Geet it was the secretary of the client who was wearing spects and was adjusting them at her nose again and again.

He closed his eyes in frustration

and murmured a quick sorry to her and went back to his seat..

He chided himself for drowning in Geet's thoughts like this..as it was a work place and he needed to be careful here.. So he engrossed himself in work as he did not want to lose the credit which his father earned with his hard work for his some romantic thoughts..as he decided to not think about Geet

She too did not disturb him in office that time..But at Night he again had his imaginary Geet with him

and he slept after taking her in his arms

Days started to pass like that..Maan made herself drowned in the work but after he reached his private room his imagination was always in front of him..he cherished her lovingly. He was spending his days by counting every day

In India ..Geet was missing Maan but she handled herself well as she did not want to be the object of fun in her FIL's eyes as he had already caught her red handed one day..

But the Name of Maan made her heart beat fast ..Her dream of the kiss in the bus always flashed in her eyes whenever she thought about him... Though she was still not confirmed about Maan but she was relishing her one sided love..as she has accepted her relation with Maan as it was.. but she had no control over her heart which was beating only for Maan ..These days she too was busy as she had to design the dresses for Annie and her both mothers,. Time of her marriage with Rahul nearing fast..It was little more than a month from now..

Whenever she was free she always lost in the thoughts of Maan and that devil Pinky never left a chance to tease her..and Geet could not believe herself that she was blushing hearing his name from Pinky..Though some times Rohit too joined Pinky in her teasing acts but infect they were helping her in not missing Maan..At the other hand Pinky and Rohit were helping Geet a lot in preparing all the dresses...

All the Family specially Ram was in constant touch with Maan as he was eager to know the development there..maan was keeping him informed with every progress..

There were few days left in Maan's return..Priya informed Maan to come back at Sunday at any cost as it was karwa chauth on Monday and it was Geet's first karwachauth after she came in this house..

Geet's heart skipped so many beats to hear the word KC..(This festival is my fav. And I m going to use it in my all stories which ever I will start after this)..

Maan heard the order of his mother and he planned his trip accordingly..

Sudha called priya and requested her to celebrate the KC at Handa mansion..and Priya agreed for that as as this was the first time when sudha requested fpor anything and she could not deny her..

Priya asked Anie is she wanted to keep fast as it was her right because she was engaged. And Anie readily said yes..It was her wish too to keep fast...Sudha became happy to hear that ..as her would be DIL was going to keep fast for her son ,so she purchased some more gifts for Anie too along with geet and priya..

It was the day when Maan was returning..a day before karwachauth..Priya asked Geet to come back home early as she had called the mehandi girl to apply the mehndi on their hands..

In office time stopped for Geet as she was feeling little restless. She wanted the time fly so that she could go back home soon but it seemed if time had refused to move.. Maan was on the way..his flight took the diverted route ..So his flight took a break at some place for few hrs..Maan called Ram and informed about his schedule..

That time Geet and Ram were having lunch and Ram could see the smile on Geet's face when she learned that call was from Maa...he knew that she was waiting for Maan to come..

Ram said to Maan in a teasing tone-jaldi aao Maan ..here someone is waiting very eagerly for you and he gave a teasing look to Geet too and Geet felt her face little warm hearing that comment from her FIL. She looked down and kept eating her lunch..

It was evening and Geet was going back to home ,,But Ram said that he too would come as he did not have much work to do.. and both returned home..After reaching home all had their evening tea and after some time mehandi girls arrived..priya asked Anie and geet to apply the mehandi first.. .geet and Anie followed her orders and sat in front of those girls ..they made beautiful designs on their palms and Priya asked those girls to put the name of Maan and Rahul on their palms and girls did the same...Geet and Anie blushed to see that name on their palms as it was first time for both of them ..Geet was having Maan's name for the first time on her palm as they got married without any pre marriage rituals.. and For Anie it was the first opportunity to have Rahul's name on her palm.. In the mean time Priya prepared the sargi for Geet and Sudha too sent the sargi for Anie by her one servant..

Maan landed in India and informed at home..after collecting his luggage he and Roshan started from the airport..

As Maan informed home about his landing Geet felt her blood rushing towards her face..their mehandi was almost dry ..Priya asked Geet and Anie to remove their mehandi so that they would be comfortable till dinner time...

Geet reached her room..she was feeling excited from inside..she was now wondering at her own feelings ..it was one sided love for her yet she was so happy and was not feeling bad .. She did not care if Maan loved her or not..she was happy for herself.. It was an heavenly feeling of love for her...

After removing Mehandi she came down and joined her In laws..priya saw the color of mehandi of both the girls and it was showing a dark shade of red on both pair of palms.Priya teased them and said-Do you know that dark shade of mahandi is the symbol of husband's love for the wife..jitni jyada dark mahnadi utna jyada husband ka pyaar milta hai.. Anie blushed as in her case it was right because Rahul loved her a lot..But Geet got little confused.. Was Priya saying right? If she was right than why her mehandi was dark..Maan did not love her..so why is was showing a deep color?But then she shrugged her thoughts and both girls asked priya to show her palm and it was too dark. Geet smiled to see that and looked towards Priya with a teasing smile and Priya got shy too understanding the meaning of Geet's teasing smile..Geet was going to ask her again but the land line rang .. Ram picked that up . Maan was on the other side-Papa I will be little late as I just got a call from the Gurgaon Project..there is some emergency and someone from us is needed there..some decision has to be taken on the spot so I m going there..I will be late by two hrs ..

Ram-Maan ..you are tired ..you come here ..I will take care of that

Maan-No papa ..I m at only few kilometer distance from that site.. it will be late if you start from home. Roshan is with me ..I will be back soon..

Ram-Ok..jaldi kaam finish karna

Maan-Ji papa.. and the phone was cut..

Ram informed all about the delay in maan's arrival ..

Priya asked them If they wanted to wait for maan for dinner

Anie-yes maa..bhaiya is coming back after so many days..so we all will have dinner together..Kyun bhabhi.. and Geet smiled and nodded in yes..

Priya-Theek hai phir ..til then you all can take rest..jaise hi Maan aata hai hum sab dinner karenge..and all left for their room to take some rest as there were two hrs for Maan to return..

Geet went to her room and thought to take bath as she was feeling little tired and had to wait for Maan for another two hrs..

Geet entered in to the bathroom and turned on the tap to fill the bathtub.She came out of the washroom as tub was going to take time to be filled. Her mind went on the words which priya said some time ago about the connection of the dark color with the love of husband..

she was lost in her thoughts and for once she looked at her palms which were having a dark color of Mehandi with te name of Maan

The bath tub was filled with the lukewarm water and she stepped in to the tub..she settled herself in the water..she again started to think

Geet-was that right whatever maa said?..she is an experienced lady..why she will lie..she must have heard or experienced that herself..papa loves her a lot..aur mamma..unki mehandi bhi to dark hi hoti hai na..and everyone in that locality know about the love and care of her parents for each other..and Anie ..Rahul pyar karta hai na anie se uski mehandi bhi kitni dark hai.. But why mine is dark? Kya aisa ho sakta hai Ki maan bhi mujhse pyar karte hain..I mean just like me..I have started to love him ..so why can't he feel this for me..should I talk to Maan about this? What if she gets angry hearing it? I think I should find out first about his feelings for me ? I should observe his behavior with me.. who knows he too missed me like I missed him.. it's possible that he too has started to feel different for me like me..

And Geet smiled at her silly thoughts-Geet tu bhi na ..khayaali pulaav pakaane lagi hai..maa ne sirf yahi to kaha ki jinki mehandi dark hoti hai unke husband unko bahut pyaar karte hain but this is not some rule that color of mahandi is the symbol of the love of husband..and she shook her head on her stupid thoughts..but she again talked to herself-By the way there is no harm to know If Maan feels for me or not? Yes I think I should observe him before deciding ..May be there is some hope and her heart started to beat fast with this thought..She wore her bathrobe and came out of the washroom..

Se stepped out of the washroom and her eyes got wider to see Maan sitting in front of her on the bed..

She was in the bathrobe and She got shy to see him there as she was expecting him coming late so she casually stepped out of the washroom thinking that she is alone in her room..
