Praise, bow, obey and appease

Duty well done with what an ease

Mortal worship for immortality

To you worship, just desperate pleas

Toil of fear, labor of lust

No to fire, paradise a must

Love for God, a thing of oratory

But God still gives, as God is just

His love for you, infinite and altruistic

Divinity in love, deep and mystic

Yet you ask, demand and complain

But for worship of love, you're too materialistic

Spur of worship, fear and avarice

Gratitude and love, would not suffice

You worship him for the fear of hell

You worship him for his paradise
