Chapter 2
Flashback
Ishita woke up at 6:30 like always and had expected to turn and see Ruhi hugging Raman while her legs were on his torso, but today she turned around and saw Ruhi hugging Raman's pillow and Raman was nowhere to be seen. She assumed he went to the bathroom and got up to start her everyday routine. She walked over to the cupboard to take out her clothes as well as Raman's. When she opened the closet, she was shocked. 😲Instead of Ishita's sarees being on the left side and Raman's suits on the right, she saw brand new sarees for her and next to each saree, there was Raman's suit that would match with the saree. She rubbed her eyes to make sure she wasn't dreaming, but it was real. Her Ravan Kumar had bought new sarees for her and arranged the cupboard so that their clothes would be together.😳 She couldn't believe, but she still didn't understand why he had brought sarees for her.
Present
Mihika: "Aww Jiju is so sweet. He bought sarees for you!"
Ishita: "The sarees didn't matter to me, I was just happy that Raman had put our clothes together and next to each other.😳"
Mihika: "Really Akka, cause if you don't want the sarees, can I have them?"😉
Ishita: "No way, Raman bought them for me, how can I give them to you?"
Mihika: "Aww so sweet Akka, Anyways what happened after?"
Ishita: "I would have continued telling the rest of the story if you hadn't interrupted."
Mihika: "Okay Okay I am sorry, just continue."
Flashback
Ishita picked out a beautiful pink saree for herself and picked the black suit with a pink shirt that was next to her saree for Raman. As she was closing the cupboard, she saw a note on the side of the cupboard. She picked up the note and read it...
Dear, Jhansi ki Rani,
Don't get all excited by seeing all the new sarees in the closet. I only got those for you because the old sarees were too small for you. How many times do I have to tell you to stop eating so much?😔 Anyways don't bother to pick any saree for yourself today because I have already picked your outfit for today because I know how horrible your choice is. There is a package on the couch waiting for you. By the way your old sarees are in a suitcase, you can do whatever you want to do with them as long as you don't ever wear those disgusting old sarees again.
Your Ravan Kumar😳
Ishita smiled while reading the note. HER Ravan Kumar. 😳She couldn't understand what had caused the sudden change in her Ravan, but whatever it was, she liked it.👍🏼 She put the other clothes back in the cupboard and walked to the couch. She saw a package wrapped in childish wrapping with swords on it. 😆She laughed out loud imagining what Raman might have said while wrapping the gift and why he picked this wrapping. She opened up the gift and saw a beautiful blue and green anarkali suit

Mihika: "Blue and green?? Akka I know you're pretty and anything will suit you, but, I hate those colors. Jiju is too much. Doesn't he know girls should be given pink and purple things? He has no taste."
Ishita: "Be quiet Mihika. Raman isn't stupid and he has a great choice alright? Blue is his favourite color and green is my favourite color, that why he gave me this suit. But now look at it, it is covered in Raman's blood."😭
Both Ishita and Mihika looked at Ishita suit that was covered in blood. Ishita had tears in her eyes again as she ran her hand over the blood stains on her suit. Mihika noticed this and start to distract Ishita again.
Mihika: "Wow Akka, first he gave you a cupboard full of sarees and now this suit, I want to know more. What happened afterwards?? I hope you're not hiding anything from me."
Flashback
Along with the suit, there was also another note in the gift box. Ishita picked it up and read it The note said..
So did you like the suit? I thought you would probably like it since it is green just like a kerela. Anyways I want you to wear this suit because you and I are going somewhere together. Don't try to be Jagga Jasoos and figure out where we are going. Now please go brush your teeth and take a shower. You have to get Ruhi ready too. I will come and pick you up at 9. Hurry up and get ready!
Ishita: "He gives me nice gifts, but then leave these mean notes behind. Typical Ravan Kumar behaviour.😊 Anyways he is right, I should go get ready and then get Ruhi ready."
As she came out of the bathroom wearing the suit Raman had given her, she was wondering where Raman was. It was only 7:30 and Raman was nowhere to be seen. She called him, but he didn't pick up. She thought of calling Mihir since he might know Raman was, but then it was too early to be bothering someone. Finally she just left him a message thanking him for the gifts and asking him where he was. But she got no reply. So Ishita went into her room. When she walked into her room, she saw that Ruhi wasn't in the room anymore and there were many gifts in the room. 😲She got all excited by seeing the gifts. She knew all the gifts were for her since there were wrapped in the same wrapping paper as the saree. She also noticed that next to each gift there was a note. Just the she got a message from Raman saying "Ruhi is with me so don't worry about her, I will make sure she is ready and I will drop her off to school too👍🏼." Raman knew her so well, he knew that she would be worried not seeing Ruhi in the room and wouldn't care about the gifts, so he left her a message.😳
Ishita turned her attention back to the gifts after knowing that Ruhi is safe with Raman. She picked up the smallest gift first and it was a brand new Chanel perfume. The note next to it said "I found out that you had smelt this perfume and wanted it ever since, so I thought why not buy it for you".😊
The next present was a diamond jewelry set. 👍🏼The note next to it said "I am sorry for that gaudy set I gave you last time, so I bought this new set for you. It's pure diamond just like you 😳and I personally chose this for you. I hope you like it. Please wear this when I come to pick you up".

The next present was a pair of navy blue stilettos. The note next to them said "I know you have been wanting nice shoes, but never buy them thinking they are too expensive. But I think you forgot you are Raman Kumar Bhalla's wife, so you don't have to worry about money. I saw these while buying your suit and thought they would look perfect with it, so I bought these."😊😊

Mihika: "Wow such expensive gifts. Jiju must have spent a lot of money on presents just for you. Akka, for this Jiju definitely get 12 out of 10. Very impressive.👏"
Ishita: "Mihika, it's not about the money, it's about the thought behind each present. He didn't give them to me to show off his money or to impress me with money, he did it to me make happy which is what counts."
Mihika: "Wow Akka now you get 15 out of 10 for this thought.👏 Anyways continue on."
Flashback
The last present was the most beautiful one, it was wrapped in red wrapping with hearts, so Ishita saved the best for last. She opened it and it was a framed painting of Ishita and Ruhi and at the bottom "The Angels of my Life" was written. 😳The note next to it said "Ishita, this is the most important and precious gift I can give you, that is my, oh sorry, our daughter. I know I have never acknowledged you for this, but you are the reason Ruhi smiles and has a normal childhood.😊 I have almost ruined Ruhi's childhood. I ignored her and kept her away from me. 😔Ruhi was getting taken care of and got whatever she want, except she never got a parent's love💔 and then you came in and filled that void.😃 I don't know how I will ever be able to thank you for what you have done for Ruhi. I didn't know what to give you that will represent what you mean to Ruhi, so I made this painting of you and Ruhi. I stopped painting years back, so this is the first painting I have made in years. Sorry if it isn't the nicest painting of you or Ruhi, but I hope you like it.😳" Ishita had tears in her eyes. Ruhi was indeed the best thing Raman had given her. Ishita took the painting and hung it on the wall right above the bed headboard. She walked back and admired the painting.😃
Present
Mihika: "Wow a painting of you and Ruhi! That's so sweet. But I bet you were slightly disappointed with that painting."
Ishita: "Why would I be disappointed with such a nice gift?"
Mihika: "Simple, because Jiju forgot to add himself in it. That must have disappointed you, even if it was just a bit.😉"
Ishita: "Kuch be😳😳."
Mihika: "Anyways let's continue. I like all this so far."
Flashback
She looked at the time, it was 8:30. Raman would be here any minute, so she quickly put on the perfume, jewelry, and shoes Raman had given her and walked into the living room. Romi and Sarika were sitting on the dining table when Ishita walked in and both of them stopped talking and just stared at Ishita.😲
Romi: "Oh my God, Bhabhi is that you?? Do you want me to call Bhai and tell him that you are ready to murder him with your looks?"😉😉
Sarika: "Romi she's your Bhabhi. Have some respect!"
Romi: "Even if she is my Bhabhi, can't I give her a compliment? Why don't you admit it, your jealous of Bhabhi?"😉😉
Sarika: "Romi you and your crazy thoughts, I am leaving! But before leaving, Ishita Mam you really do look beautiful."
Romi: "Wait. Where are you going?? Arre Baba I am sorry, now please sit back down. Sorry Bhabhi, you look nice, but some people look nicer." With that he gave Sarika a nudge on her shoulder. Sarika blushed😳 and Romi gave a mischievous smile.😉 Then Raman called out to Romi from the door.
Raman: "Romi, are you saying Ishita doesn't look nice as other women?😡"
Romi: "No Bhai, I never said that. What are you talking about?😲"
Ishita: "Raman he is lying. Look I put in so much effort and got ready and he said Sarika looks prettier than me."
Sarika: "What Mam? No how can I look better than you. Romi is just stupid, he just says things. You look much better than me."
Romi: "Oh wow now everyone turns against me seeing Bhai. This isn't fair.😭"
Seeing Romi whine like a baby made everyone laugh. Romi realizing that they were just joking, joined in and the 4 of them had a good laugh.😆😆
Raman: "Listen, Romi can you and Sarika take care of Ruhi this evening? Actually the thing is Ishita and I have to go somewhere important today, so can you pick up Ruhi from school and take care of her?"
Romi: "Bhai this is not fair, Sarika and I were supposed to watch a movie today😳😉."
Sarika: "Romi, it's okay we will watch a movie another day. Raman sir, we will manage Ruhi. But we have to go now. Bye sir. Bye mam."
Raman: "Thanks Sarika. Bye."
Romi and Sarika left and Ishita and Raman both sat down to eat their breakfast.
Ishita: "Raman, I hope Ruhi didn't bother you too much this morning."
Raman: "Not at all, I actually took her Amma and Appa's place. She was behaving perfectly fine. I helped her with her uniform, but I had Amma braid her hair because I completely messed up her hair.😆"
Ishita: "Oh obviously it's not easy to get kids ready in the morning. By the way, what about Ruhi's breakfast and oh my god what about her tiffin😲?"
Raman: "Relax Ishita, she's my daughter too. I made sure she finished her breakfast and Amma made a tiffin for her👍🏼. By the way, I am done my breakfast, are you done?"
Ishita: "Raman where are we going now and where are we going in the evening??"
Raman: "You'll see. Ishita I am going downstairs and you also come downstairs after you're done your breakfast."
In the car, Ishita kept on asking Raman where they are going, but Raman kept on saying it's a surprise. Finally Raman stopped a car by a small hill in the countryside.
Ishita: "Where are we Raman?"
Raman: "A place very close to my heart. Just follow me.😊😊"
