Chapter 1
Ishita sat on the hospital floor thinking about how there was finally peace in her family after so long. Mihir and Mihika had finally gotten married in not 1 but 2 weddings, one completely Punjabi and the other completely Tamil👍🏼 Simmi had found out the truth about Param just a while back when she heard him and Ashok planning to ruin Raman's new project with the file Simmi was supposed to bring them and she moved to Mumbai with her daughter to get away from everyone and start her life again.😊 Mr. and Mrs. Bhalla had gone to stay with her for a few weeks to help with Ananya and get her settled in Mumbai. Romi had become much more responsible and had a growing friendship with Sarika😉. He would often get Ishita to invite her over or he would go to Ishita's clinic to meet her. Meanwhile Bala had gotten his job back and Vandita could finally be fully happy about her pregnancy😊. Ishita had also tried to get Raman and Adi to spend more time together and improve their relationship. Adi's hate for Raman was slowly going away, but it wasn't completely gone😔. During this time Ishita had fallen in love with Raman😳, but couldn't tell him that since she feared rejection.
Her thoughts were disturbed when she heard Mihir's voice.
Mihir: "There's bhabhi!" Ishita heard Mihir talking to Mihika
Both of them ran towards Ishita. Ishita got up from the floor and hugged Mihika and started crying.😭😭
Mihir: Bhabhi we came as soon as could! But, why are you all by yourself? Where is everyone else? And have you told uncle and aunty about what happened?
Ishita broke the hug
Ishita: Well Bala Jiju and Vandu Akka went home since Akka needed rest. Amma and Appa took Ruhi home since she had to go to school tomorrow and Romi and Sarika have gone to the pharmacist to get some medicines. Romi informed mummyji and papaji, and they along with Simmi will be here by tomorrow afternoon.
Mihika looked at her Akka and saw the blood all over her suit and look at her face and it seemed like she had been crying for hours and she seemed so lost in her own thoughts in her own world.😭😭
Mihika: Akka, are you alright?
Ishita looked at Mihika with are you seriously asking me this' look.
Ishita: How can I be alright, Mihika?!! My husband, my Raman, is fighting in between life and death and you're asking if I am alright!!! What's wrong with you?!😭
Both Mihir and Mihika was shocked😲😲 by Ishita's outburst, but they understood what Ishita must have been going through. They were so worried about Raman themselves that they could understand how difficult it would have been for Ishita. Mihika saw the pain Ishita had in her eyes. She had never seen her Akka so broken and hurt before.😭
Mihika: Akka, I am sorry I was just-
Ishita: "No, Mihika I am sorry I shouldn't have talked to you like that, but I just couldn't help myself." Ishita said while wiping her tears away. "Mihika, can I ask you something?"
Mihika: "What Akka?"
Ishita: "Why did this have to happen to my Raman? We were so happy and so in love, then why did this happen? Why is it that whenever Raman and I come closer to each other, something or the other happens that makes us go further away. Why Raman?? Why couldn't have it been me instead? " With this Ishita started crying again.
Mihika: "Akka don't talk like that and please don't cry, you know that my Jiju is very strong and trust me nothing will happen to him."
Mihir: Bhabhi, Mihika is right, nothing will happen to Bhai.
Mihika thought about what Ishita had just said to her and then it struck her. Did her Akka just say that she and Jiju were in love😳😳 Mihika took Ishita to the side and asked her to make sure that what she had heard was right.
Mihika: "Love?? Akka what are you talking about? I don't understand anything. I remember you telling me that you had starting loving Jiju, but you were too scared to tell him. Wait! You mean to say you told Jiju about your feelings?"
Ishita: "Oh yea, so much happened today that I didn't get time to tell you about what had happened today."
Ishita had a slight smile on her face when she remembered all the wonderful things that had happened today. Mihika understood that talking about this would help her Akka forget about Raman's condition for now. She convinced Ishita to go outside and tell her about everything that happened between Raman and her while Mihir would stay behind with Raman.
They both sat down at a bench right outside the hospital.
Mihika: "Okay Akka, tell me everything from the beginning okay, no hiding anything from me.😉"
Mihika gave Ishita a slight nudge on her arm and Ishita smiled and started blushing.
Ishita: Okay baba, just relax and I will tell you everything. It all started this morning ...
