Varun is too high on energy, overacts!!

Im not fond of people who are too high on energy, not even onscreen

Well, opinions differ. I thought he was pretty calm in SOTY as he wasn't required to be OTT. In MTH, he was and this was the David Dhawan comedy style like the 90s heroes. For Humpty as well, he's supposed to be this energetic, carefree, always happy go lucky guy. So maybe that's why you might find he overacts or he is too loud :)

Sid's character in HTP was supposed to be subtle, he wasn't required to be energetic as a stark contrast to Pari's character. And for EV, he was supposed to be intense and brooding. Varun and SId's roles are poles apart so I don't really think you can compare them... you may just like serious roles better 😊

Let's see how he does in ABCD2 and Raghavan's film which by the looks of it doesn't require him to be bubbly. 😊

Even in kwk he was annoying..jumping at quiz answers n all..blehh..not bearable for me

I thought she meant onscreen as she said overacts and mentioned HSKD... if you find him annoying offscreen then no one can really substantiate that 😆 I just mentioned for onscreen part and I don't force my opinions down anyone's throat.

I am a boring serious kinda guy. I like when chatty, hillarious girls are around. Don't wanna go to depression.
I will never skip my favorite actress film just because i don't like the actor. My attraction for my idol is unconditional. And if Sid wants to reach somewhere in the industry, he has to act equally good in comic energetic roles otherwise audience get fed up after some years with serious, silent roles. If Varun's sriram ragavan's movie is about a serious character and he pulls it off, he will be versatile and offers would flood as he would fit in any role. If you are a sid fan and want him to succeed, start liking him for all sorts of roles, because he himself will be fed up with serious roles at some point and will change the genre; every actor does.

I am neither a fan of Sid nor Varun as of now. They have refine their acting to go higher.
