David Dhawan movies are known for that.

Salman & Govinda use to act like that all the time in Dhawan films .

I think Varun overdoes it in his dancing 😆 too much energy won't make you the Hrithik Roshan in dancing...but off screen, he comes across as this spoiled kid who's in the candy store...

I like Varun because he's an amazing dancer..IMO much better than Shahid and Duggu.

However..I agree with you to some extent..he was a little annoying and tried too hard in MTH. but I loved him in SOTY. he wasn't OTT there at all. I don't think acting comes naturally to him. but I woukdnt say he is a bad actor..with time am sure he can improve. even good actors like Ranveer gives a disappointing perf like Gunday. Ranveer tried too hard in Gunday as well.

I haven't seen too much if his interviews to have an opinion on his offscreen personality.

its your opinion and i got it 😊 u like subtle guys.

but i like energetic guys ! 😆 so i prefer varun and adore him a lot.. he is too cute .. 😳 and that jumping and jyada bolne wale bande are really really cute.. IMO

only varun and aadi i like from younger lot

i cant like a person who cant make me laugh even if he is hot as hell

In SOTY days promotions he was like so so so annoying hamesha pagalo k tara chila chila ka bat karta hai like mujhe suno mujhe suno .. Sid was hardly talk anything becz of this annoying bachaa :/
