Guys, sorry for being a little late, but absolutely fabulous points. I really wanted to discuss and understand Kashaf as a person, and all of you brought up some wonderful points.
Thank you so much for contributing to the discussion.@Starstruck- Hey, long time. Yes, what you said is completely true. Kashaf is comparatively mellow with Usama, but not with Zaroon. Both their egos and upbringing have shaped their personality. And you're right. She sort of uses her rudeness as a shield against everything Zaroon represents. Loved your post.@Tripsy- You had me at "Jai Mata" shows. 😆 Yes, I wanted to say that Kashaf is rude. Misandry I understand, but her rudeness, I don't.@ Pinkeye- Yes, I agree. She is extremely sensitive and suspicious when it comes to men. Her attitude to Zaroon is both a product of her misandry and her specific distaste for Zaroon. Great points. Thank you so much.@ Queen - Exactly. Zaroon's attitude changed within seconds. Anyone would be suspicious, let alone a girl like Kashaf.@ Neva Mind- Hey, yes. My point was precisely that. Kashaf is rude. Not just to Zaroon, but with everyone. I get it that she is this refreshing heroine who stands up for her rights, but being unnecessarily rude with people is not empowering. That is what second-wave feminism has mistranslated to general public. Yes, Kashaf's rudeness is her defence mechanism, her way to avoid getting close to people, but rudeness is not excusable either. It's not about Zaroon, it's about everyone.

Also...Some may confuse her rudeness with feminism or her being a strong, independent person...but I always felt her rudeness simply stemmed from her bitterness towards life. That bitterness became a part of her on a day to day to basis.

P.S : Anne,I forgot to mention Kashaf it the only female character I have loved as a character till date Probably yours too. 😛
None of the tv shows sculpt good female roles. They are all about "mahaanta" nonsense. U know what I mean? 🤢
