I think this would be interesting to see - both characters can learn from each other. Pallavi's strong mentality could learn some softness from Sharda's heart; and Sharda can learn to toughen up when the circumstances demand such instead of "babying" around.
This entire week's episodes have left me in a fix. First Sharda convinces Karan to bail out his dad for some unknown reason ... this irritated me a lot since the CVs are trying to make it seem like Sharda still has connections to her past ... a part of me thinks that she doesn't want to move on (which can be tough of course since she has been through a lot, but sympathy for Suresh isnt what I wanted to see).
Then, the sudden introduction of Shanaya as the daughter responsible for getting Suresh arrested. Her problem is with her dad, so I find it difficult to understand the need for her to meddle with Sharda who is an innocent victim in all this (this is per the articles about Shanaya's role in the serial). She isn't a kid or anything, she's in college so I figure she would have a greater ability to handle the situation... which is ironic since the son Aarav is younger and thus I would have suspected him to be wanting to create some trouble for Sharda (young, naive, foolish).
Finally, the biggest part about this track that I don't understand is Suresh doubting Pallavi. I mean, what's the point of Pallavi sending Suresh to jail .. yes she threatened him, but I find it ridiculous for Suresh to blame Pallavi. This is exactly what happens:
Pallavi threatens Suresh that she can have him sent to jail --> Pallavi moves in and kicks Sharda out non-legally --> Suresh is arrested --> Pallavi sends Suresh's lawyer who tells Suresh that Pallavi sent him --> Suresh is bailed by Karan --> Suresh blames Pallavi.
Maybe Suresh wanted Pallavi to bail him out? But if he did that, then the relationship between Suresh Modi and Pallavi Ajmera would come out in public which Pallavi is expertly not declaring. The reputation of Suresh Modi and Mahesh Ajmera would easily hit ground bottom if Pallavi or her son / daughter bailed him out.
Finally, what is the point of living with Suresh. She clearly thinks of him as a pig, she sleeps with Aarav instead of Suresh, does she just want to be part of the family and get accepted by Dadi? Speaking of Dadi, her reaction to Pallavi is just sad. I mean, it was her son's mistake so why blame it on Pallavi? Yes, Pallavi did kick Sharda out, but I am more sympathetic to Pallavi though.
Speaking of which ... Was every business trip Suresh took simply a vacation with Pallavi? I mean, his relationship with Aarav and Shanaya suggest something deep - to which they are so angry that they refuse to acknowledge him.
Last note: It looks like Sharda has realized that her kids aren't going to get shit from Suresh (so much for the "your dad won't let you lose your rights" speech. I hope she teams up with Latika and fights for her kids' rights).
Oh a last question: What exactly would happen if Sharda doesn't show up. Legally, she is the owner of Sharda, Inc. so she doesn't have to transfer the property over does she?
